Am sending a card. Please don't think about "bad" cops and "good" cops. This kid was injured and has a loving family that is probably really scared for him now. We all live with the fear of an officer being shot and when it happens, it only makes the fear worse and love stronger. I see ugly posts directed at him personally and this just isn't the time for petty crap.

While i wish this young man the best, it is time we get our police departments to honor their oath to the Constitution of the United States of America. To many don't take this seriously and allow inner office and governmental agenda's divert them from their rightful duties. Our jails are way overcrowded and are used for profit in to many ways. look up Jack McLamb. Their is a Police officer that has been fighting for our Constitutional freedoms all his professional career. It is a shame that situations are created for these officers to have to deal with. These guys have to deal with the same anarchy as we do and it is a shame that some die needlessly for their heroism.

Noted. What a nice thing to do. So often our officers do their duty and get wounded or worse and no one ever knows about it.
