I will be setting up my game camera in my backyard tonight. The numerous deer should be out there frolicking under the full moon. It happens every year.

The full moon teaches us not to analyze, but to take time to contemplate and dream.

There is something wrong with my computer tongight and I couldn't get it to the article. I know that here in Australia the moon has been HUGE for the past few days and my animals have been so restless! last night I saw a wombat wandering around in the garden and the Magpies warbled all night, as they didn't realize it was night time! I LOVE walking around in the moonlight, it makes the world look strange and sort of ethereal and everything looks so calm and wonderful, like being on a different planet. I can't sleep when the moon is full and so that is why I oftne join the night animals!

Dan S., my cat was soo restless last night, and I had this weird vibe that made it hard for me to sleep, then I realized it was a full moon and thought maybe that was it.

I had no idea that the celebration date of Easter was based on when the full moon occures, that's fascinating. So, I saw the Pink Moon, luckly it was clear skies in my area :-)

@ Victoria S. The early Christians still used the Jewish calender and Easter was tied to the Jewish Passover. The "Last Supper" was alleged to be a Passover Seder. The Passover stated on the 14th day of the month which was the full moon. This is the reason Easter bounces from as early as the 22d of March to the 26th of April. It is the Sunday following the first full moon after the vernal equinox. This year the Paschal full moon was the 17th of Aprei and the following Sunday the 24th is Easter.
