If we're so smart, why are we so dumb?

What do we need a government for? We can make fuel from sugar that does not require corn. Instead the governments around the world are destroying rain forests to grow corn.

We can end our madness of dependence on oil from unfriendly governments.

The unfortunate concern is the price tag that most of us can't afford. $10,000 to kick our oil dependency, add hydro, water and sugar to produce our own fuel at $1.00 per gallon. So while being a breakthrough on reducing our oil dependency, it isn't quite Eco-ficient unless renewable energy sources are utilized along with an underground water supply.
