The Boycott, Divestment & Sanction (BDS) movement is a vile combination of leftists and Islamists joined together by hatred of Israel who hide behind false and exaggerated claims regarding the "occupation," when the real goal is the destruction of Israel

"Boycott Israel" Lyrics by Ari Lesser
Boycott Israel, if you think that’s just
But unless you have a double standard you must
Also boycott the rest of the nations
With allegations of human rights violations
We’re not perfect but if you think we’re the worst
First take a look at the rest of the earth
Don’t pick and choose to pick on the Jews
Pick up the paper and read the news
Boycott North Korea I don’t think you’ll see a
Country in the world that could be un-freer
Boycott China, let’s not forget
That they stole the whole country of Tibet
Boycott Japan slaughtering thousands
Of helpless innocent whales and dolphins
Boycott Vietnam where they choose to use
Drug addicts as slave to shell cashews
Boycott Cambodia, grabbing up land
Five million acres from the poor man’s hand
Boycott Thailand for shutting the door
And deporting refugees back to the war
Boycott Burma, don’t let your cash slip
Into the grip of that military dictatorship
Boycott India, women can’t escape
When the government officials are guilty of rape
Boycott Pakistan, crazy country
Where they execute people for blasphemy
And boycott Afghanistan opium land
Where poppy fields stand in the Taliban’s hand
Chorus
Boycott Syria their government’s killing
Thousands of innocent, unarmed, civilians
Boycott Iraq make them change the laws
That lock up and torture people without cause
Boycott Iran with the greatest rate
Of execution out of every other state
Boycott Turkey because they’ve always denied
And lied about the Armenian Genocide
Boycott Turkmenistan, where the only media
That you ever see is what the president’ll feed to ya
Boycott Uzbekistan, government’s rotten
Enslaving children to harvest cotton
Boycott Russia because every year
More Muslims mysteriously disappear
Boycott Ukraine, where the politicians
Lock up the opposition, so there’s no competition
Boycott Belarus, president’s got to go
You know those elections are just for show
And boycott Germany, cause there’s no reparation
For murdering half the Jewish population
Chorus
Boycott Sudan, the Darfur genocide
Where hundreds of thousands have already died
Boycott Egypt and don’t let that narrow
Minded president keep acting like Pharaoh
Boycott Saudi Arabian oppression
Of women getting beat up, treated like possessions
Boycott Bahrain police brutality
Against the Shi’ites by the Sunni Monarchy
Boycott Yemen make them stop the obscene
Execution of juveniles under eighteen
Boycott Eritrea national slavery
Where they work for free indefinitely
Boycott the Congo, doing terrible things
To sell blood diamond engagement rings
Boycott Zimbabwe you’ll find all kinds
Of torture behind those government mines
Boycott South Africa, make them pay
For the hundreds of women raped everyday
Boycott Ivory Coast, sound the alarm
There’s thousands of slaves on those cocoa farms
Chorus
Boycott Chile because they deny
Abortions even if the mother will die
And boycott Brazil where the brutal police
Kill thousands of people to keep the peace
Boycott Venezuela closer inspection
Shows that the socialists stole the election
Boycott Colombia, putting out the lights
Of anyone who fights for union rights
Boycott Ecuador for stealing the lands
Of indigenous people for their corporate plans
And boycott Costa Rica where they’ve applied
So much pesticide, that hundreds have died
Boycott Honduras where a journalist
Gets shot if he writes anything like this
Boycott Mexico in the war on drugs
The military acts like the cartel thugs
Boycott the USA make them pay
For torturing people in Guantanamo bay
And boycott Cuba, but if the government hears
You criticize them, you’ll be locked up for years
And boycott Israel, if you think that’s just
But unless you have a double standard you must
Also boycott the rest of the nations
With allegations of human rights violations
We’re not perfect but if you think we’re the worst
First take a look at the rest of the earth
Don’t pick and choose to pick on the Jews
Pick up the paper and read the news

The BDS movement, which includes many academics, singles out Israel and only Israel, ignoring far worse human rights conditions in countries that are not under threat of suicide-bombings and destruction.
It is no surprise that the BDS movement, while claiming to be non-violent, often is the impetus for violence against Jews, particularly in Europe. The excessive and unique demonization of Israel is inextricably linked to the rise of anti-Semitism in Europe.
So back at you, self-righteous bigoted "lefties", Nazis, Group 13, Islamists, your glass house isn't stone proof.

Moses, BDS is Arab-League orchestrated hate campaign against Israel, and nothing more. Seeing how much harm the civilized world suffers at the hands of Islamists, only complete imbeciles may offer any support to BDS and its hate propagandists.

Here is also great interview with Ari Lesser I really hope this open the eyes of the hypocrites who are so focused on singling out Israel and blaming all the world's faults on Israel while claiming to be fighting for human rights.

There is a lot of Human Rights violations going on in the world I will agree. I think it's important to point out those where-ever they may lie but too many focus on one area and forget the rest. I think it would be important if in the addition of pointing out others faults that people also look in their own backyards to see where improvement is to be addressed.

As so happens I had just placed a video onto the news that has a reggae beat entitled Open Your Eyes. It also speaks very clearly on how mankind must improve how they treat each other. The above man and this one I presented both talented musicians trying to get a message out.
Mankind Open Your Eyes

I'm not singling out Israel for their human rights offenses. But I am not excusing them either. Two wrongs don't make a right. The USA is the #1 hypocrite though when it comes to HRs.

Excellent post Moses!! That is so true and just goes to show that every human being is flawed and is not perfect and I would even say in reality hypocritical! IMO sometimes those who live in glass houses throw the most stones which is not a wise idea at all!

It has a lot of things none of these BDSM proponents will never boycott because that would actually personally inconvenience them, instead of their preferred "boycott" methods of attacking companies, giving up products they probably didn't use anyway, and be all smug about how morally superior they feel.

And remember to check the boycott lists often! It's a great shopping list of brands to buy for the rest of us! I've got favorite products that I never heard of until I shopped the boycott lists......

It's a fabulous clip and so very true. I have very little doubt that the constant , unjustified criticism of Israel by so
many people who should know better is nothing more than latent anti-Semitism despite their protests to the contrary.
Thanks for posting, Moses and Beth and Portland for the heads-up.

Ha ha!! "don't pick on the Jews" - where and how many times have we heard that one...

I don't need a reggae jingle to confuse me... having been raised around reggae, i know what it truly represents.

Very crafty, but the fact is that one onl;y has to pick up the old testament, the Jewish scriptures, history books... to see the inequities of mankind, and they date back to the beginning of any human record, or before.

I see the kids in the playground, and the clever one, who try to whine their way out of taking responsibility for bullying or some other behavior, and they often try to point to what others are doing - and i would point out, it's not the question or the matter what they are doing, it's what YOU are doing. - this means what each one of us does, is our responsibility, with how we respond, how we act, or if we choose to pick out what others are doing - and perhaps do nothing!!!!
To do something, to try to help, wherevever the need is, is to make something, someone, count!!
Acts of omission are the norm, but there are so mnay that stand up every day, against the odds in very dangerous circumstances.

"Picking on the Jews" - they are not special, they cannot claim exception - any more than anyone else.
The whole world acts on it's estimation of past, current and assumed inequities and injuries committed, some going back for thousands of years.
As a matter of fact, that is in the Old Testament, Jewish scriptures -
Today, the notion that ANYONE is singling out Israel, is juggling things around, once again, but it does not fog the intent. Israel is as guilty as it is guilty, just like any other country on this planet, and just as guilty of manipulation and subterfuge - and must be held accountable for it's actions and tyranny, as the rest of the world.
Crying wolf, just doesn't change the tune - even without the scriptures, there's more than enough history that demonstrate greed and destruction of people and their lives, through dispossession, land theft, slavery, forced labour and enforced brutality, religious or otherwise - the list of man's evil is infinite, and nothing new.

This is the truth, and the mirror on the wall shows one face.. I do not have the exact wording, for the quote
from Edmund Burke -:

All it takes for evil to flourish, is for good men to do nothing."

It's about doing something, no one can do it all. The hypocrisies of old exist today as they have always, like power and lies, distortions and the blame game.
People everywhere have always faced distracting excuses and divisiveness, like now in the U.S. government - it's NOT about what cannot be done, but what can be done. People will always fight for change and hope, wherever and however they can.

JAH Love.... treat your neighbour as, you would wish your neighbour treated you.

{Ha ha!! "don't pick on the Jews"} - so that is funny?
"one onl;y has to pick up the old testament, the Jewish scriptures, history books... to see the inequities of mankind" - That goes for any religion, but why do some want to ignore the rest and focus primarily on the Jews? Most Jews DON'T practice these outdated, obsolete customs. Israel's laws are NOT based on Leviticus scriptures.
{"Picking on the Jews" - they are not special, they cannot claim exception - any more than anyone else.} - by that logic, they surely weren't exceptional during WWII now, were they? Yes we are all human but you fail to recognize why things are the way today and you're not helping any human cause with being sarcastic and downplaying the history. "Crying wolf.".. really, what kind of person says that?
The hatred of Jews is alive and well today, just like racism against Africans in OUR country, Jessica, still exists, and the racism and genocide against aboriginal Americans. But I guess according to your logic "they are not special, they cannot claim exception" either.
"The notion that ANYONE is singling out Israel, is juggling things around, once again". No, it happens all the time. It happened in your post. There are many here and around the world that DO single out Israel as being the worst, "rogue", "terrorist" state in the world.
"I don't need a reggae jingle to confuse me"... It wasn't confusing at all. I don't need a troll to confuse me.
.

Jessica:

Your profile doesn’t indicate how old you are, which is interesting, because your choice of words indicates that you’re either rather young or you’re so infused with bigotry and prejudice that you cannot even fathom to what degree.

Childish, bullying and sarcastic are the beginning words of your post, “Ha ha!....where and how many times have we heard that one…”

“Crafty” is a distinct word often used by those bigoted against Jews. How interesting that you chose to use the word “crafty” to describe someone Jewish.

Then a few sentences down….. “the ‘clever’ one”, “who try to ‘whine’ their way….”

Crafty, clever, whiny…. You are blind to your own use of negative stereotyping and Jew baiting! Amazing “money grubbing” and “legalistic” didn’t get thrown in there, too. But I guess there wasn’t any real opening for them….. this time.

Jews, “they are not special, they cannot claim exception”. This is the rejoinder to an implied “Oh so you think you’re the “chosen” people, something special, ay?”

Ah, but you have just demonstrated that you think they are!

Any other ethnic group you wouldn’t think of saying something like this to. Yet, you are so dripping with contempt and hatred, that you can’t even think about what you are saying to even put the brakes on.

Would you say to someone black, “You are all shifty, lazy, welfare mammas?” I bet you wouldn’t dream of it. No you have saved your stereotypical venom for someone Jewish and for someone who used a CREATIVE way, the language of music, to say to hypocritical people, “Hey there’s a huge double standard here that needs to be understood and addressed!”

So what if this artist chose to use Reggae as his background music. It’s popular, it speaks to a certain demographic. It’s a spoof, albeit a serious one. Would you have the same problem with it if that person were a WASP, or Vietnamese, or Buddhist, etc.? Would those people be any less creative or would they, too, be “crafty”?

Yet you’ve decided to be judge and jury. Your Highness has decided that You have deemed it “crafty, clever, whiny”, to mount a perspective-hypocrisy check, therefore wrong, morally wanting, abusive, irresponsible.

Let’s look at ABC news list of The Top 10 Worst Dictators(hips). (2011, the most recent I could find)

1. The late Kim Jong Il, dictator of North Korea. He died of heart failure while travelling by train Nov. 17, 2011, the country's state-run news agency reported. North Korea is one of the most closed and repressive countries in the world.

2. President of Myanmar, U Thein Sein. The closed nation is one of the worst in the world for human rights violations, child labor and lack of free speech, Amnesty International says.

3. Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez. Chavez, known for his hours-long speeches deriding the west, has severely eroded freedoms in the country under his rule, Amnesty International says.

4. Uzbekistan President Islam. Karimov, president since 1990, has been criticized for policies that curb human rights and individual freedoms.

5. Cuban President Raul Castro. The country remains one of the world's poorest and most closed to the outside world.

6. Syrian President Bashar Assad has been in power since 2000. His father, Hafez al-Assad, ruled Syria for 29 years until his death in 2000. The government's brutal crackdown on dissenters has led to many deaths.

7. Equatorial Guinea's President Teodoro Obiang. He has been president of Equatorial Guinea since 1979, which has one of the worst human rights records, according to Freedom House.

8. Turkmen President Gurbanguly. He has been president since 2006. His security forces are said to track down and arrest anyone suspected of dissent.

9. Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir. He has been president since 1989, when he seized power in a military coup. He's wanted internationally for war crimes and crimes against humanity by the International Criminal Court.

10. Isaias Afewerki, President of Eritrea. He has been president since 1991. People with unsanctioned religious beliefs are said to be imprisoned and tortured in the country.

Other lists are quite similar, but there are noticeably more Muslims on them. Yet in spite of the numerous and horrendous human rights abuses, Israel isn’t anywhere near these lists.

YET in spite of the fact that nothing Israel has done comes that comes close to the numbers and acts of depravity of the governments of these countries, the U.N. has, with the immense help of the 56-member bloc of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (the OIC), the largest voting bloc on in the U.N., which vote trades and gets other countries to pass anti-Israel resolutions by threatening them with empty gasoline pumps, singled Israel out for the overwhelming majority of sanctions, while many of these other dictatorships don’t even get mentioned.

Yes, Israel is deliberately singled out for demonization and delegitimization by design over and over again, BECAUSE Islam has in its Qur’an the command to kill every last Jew, and NEVER to give up a land that has once been claimed by Islam, even though the Jews lived in Israel long before Islam came along. And the Islamic states that have the oil, have the money to buy other countries’ votes, to pay for Islamic Studies Departments at the most prestigious universities, to wage a relentless and grossly dishonest and unbalanced war of words, buying leftist groups, and the list goes on and on.

How many other countries have an ancient history like Israel, whose people and country are now always under the threat of annihilation, who don’t have collateral damage in trying to protect itself?

I think a good, long look inside yourself deeply and honestly is of fundamental importance, and which is probably a very scary thing for you to do, because when you do, you will see the ugly blackness of dishonesty, hatred, prejudice, to the degree that has no basis in reality, something completely at odds with the person you’ve fooled yourself into believing you are, and IF you can do that you can cleanse yourself of this horrible disease that greatly helps fuel the corruption and destruction of the world.

When the covert diplomatic war run by the Aran states against Israel gets exposed, the Dawah propagandists get upset and start blabbering whatever nonsense they could get, preferable from some name crazy and/or anti-Semitic guy, to hide behind his credentials.

After seeing this trick many times, it does not impress me anymore.

Somehow, they are trying to hide that Arab states contribute very little to the world well being, other than providing oil. I don't take great supply of jihadist murderers as something positive.

Israelis provided so much in the medical and pharmaceutical research, that it is unbelievable. That small country takes refugees, allows Arab immigration in, sends humanitarian help to the very Arab countries that are at war with it - this all deserves the respect.

Thanks Beth and Moses! It's amazing how any other group can't be criticized. But us Jews are always fair game.
