Now all need to agree to not do or buy any products from companies that experiment on animals. THEN I WOULD BUY FROM THEM.

My question is: WHY were they allowed to use unsafe ingredients in the first place? And exactly how 'unsafe' were these different ingredients? No telling how many of these products each of us have been using for Years!

Amen, Judy!

The "power of our purse strings" can change the "harm" imposed on us by mega corporations that only care about their profit margins.

Testing products on animals does very little good. It is known that what hurts animals does not always hurt humans, and what does not hurt animals sometimes hurts humans very badly. Many peopel have died from using such products and medications. A few months ago it was announced that there was no longer and "need" to test products on animals, because they had computers that were MUCH more accurate and gave results in record time. So, why would Anyone be for the continued testing on animals?? Course, all the thousands of people who work in the labs doing the testing want to continue doing it, but for everyone else.....WHY? I suspect that the new method of using a more accurate method and getting much faster and more accurate results with computers is the reason the 500 companies have 'given up testing on animals'. If they don't use the computers and they put something out that harms humans after being teted on animals, instead of the new technology, they are going to have a LOT of lawsuits.

The Environmental Working Group has a great section on their website about harmful chemicals in our personal care products. I don't think animal testing is necessary. Many of the companies that use safer ingredients do not test on animals anyway. I've made a lot of changes and now try to use less harmful products on myself, my family, and my house. They work just as well (if not better) and it's nice to know I am doing something that is better for both us and the world.:)

I represent a company that uses no synthetic chemicals and 100% beneficial ingredients. Even if this may hurt business....It's about time!!

Good for you, Jennifer Harris! Now, tell me what company you represent and if I'm not already a customer, I'll become one.

What can you say? This is a good thing but despite what they tell us they will do what they want anyway. Let's hope morality will overcome greed.

Morality will never overcome greed for these people. We simply need to make it more profitable for them to use only 100 real natural ingrediants and not test anything on animals. If they only used the plants God has given to us there wouldn't be any need to test to animals because we have known for thousands of years which plants are helpful and harmful. Even if they want to use harmful chemicals they should only test on humans because we can volunteer to do it. Pets do not have that option and I don't believe in any particular religion but anyone who hurts them will have bad things happen to them!

The "POWER OF THE PURSE" wins every time; don't buy their products if they're full of dangerous chemicals and they will have to change their formulas!
