On the outskirts of Lusaka, Zambia, next year's crop of bicycles is being watered by Benjamin Banda. "We planted this bamboo last year," he says, "and now the stems are taller than me. When it's ready we'll cut it, cure it and then turn it into frame

While I don't plan on getting into the Bike industry there are an infinite number of Ways that Bamboo, Hemp (or Sisal) can be used Together to build things, and I'm Finaly getting a chance to Grow my own; (bamboo Not Hemp YET..;) I have already planted some and will be getting someother varieties soon.. For Labour Barters No Cash.
