Can't have been helped by all the hot air being spewed by DT in the neighbouring area!

But, seriously - who can continue denying climate change with the heat waves in Northern Europe - and the related wildfires can be terrifying for all in the area.
I hope you're not too close to the "hot spots", Ben. Take care

My heart goes out to Sweden also having to cope with what we in California have faced for several years now.

Noted with sadness - I understand Denmark has been hit with wildfires too! Hard to imagine the little "green jewel" burning due to dryness!
Thanks Ben

My prayers are with you Ben (and JL) as y'all have been having mighty fires raging.!
I've been praying for rain here too, in TX, as we are now in a burn ban.
Take care Ben.

Update, Sunday, August 22:
Sweden's wildfires still serious with heatwave on the horizon .
Even though the fires haven't spread, emergency services are concerned the extreme heat expected to hit Sweden next week could aggravate the situation.
An international brigade of firefighters worked through Saturday night to little avail as wildfires continued to burn their way through large parts of forested Sweden...
