This retired "seal" makes a very good point. He stated that the military in no monolithic. They will vote for a Commander in Chief they can rely on. People have this idea that if your in the military, you will automatically vote GOP. This was not the case in post WWII under Truman who was elected.
Obama has lost the faith in his own military, and has not shown any credibility to lead. This is quite a blow to the Commander in Chief of one of the strongest forces in the world.

You keep posting this lie over and over in different wordings, but you cannot make it true, because it isn't.

I agree with the "seals'" Our president (Obama) has not supported our men as Commander-in-Chief to the degree they deserve. Life is preciouis. These men work hard to be "seals" to be well trained for every emergency. However, they do need support from the TOP.

This is an inappropriate political advertisement! I'm not voting for either of the 2 crooks; i'm tired of wasting my vote on the duopoly! Never-the-less, this is a blatant anti-Obama political advertisement! Shame on C2NN!

Why is an obvious political advertisement being posted here? They should have to pay for the space like other advertisers.

Four disgruntled retired or former Navy SEALS have no business claiming to speak for the SEAL community, or veterans as a whole. As a retired member of Special Ops I find it offensive, unprofessional, based on lies and personal opinions.

“Obama has a more than 5-to-1 edge over Romney in political donations from individuals who list themselves as employees of the Defense Department or one of four military branches, a USA TODAY analysis of federal filings shows. Army employees are the biggest source of military contributions to each: $108,571 to Obama and $22,004 to Romney.” Source, USA Today 5/25/2012

The Pentagon formally warned a former Navy SEAL who has written a first-person account of the raid that killed Osama bin Laden last year, saying he has violated his signed agreement not to divulge classified information, and it threatened him with stiff legal action. Matt Bissonnette is in material breach and violation of the non-disclosure agreements he signed. Bissonette is now a retired SEAL who is out to make a “Quick Buck” at the expense of the US Navy. Military personnel cannot critique the Commander-in-Chief in public. Why would the SEALS critique Obama? He authorized the raid that brought them so much glory.

haha Facts, Cam?? Really? Since when are Republicans interested in facts?
BTW, I see NewsMax advertised here all the time. It's not just Democratic leaning organizations. But you are absolutely correct. You have every right to post all the GOP lies you want to here. Enjoy.

Excuse me..but who was it that got us into a war with Iraq over WMD's that were never found? Why wasn't he prosecuted for it? He lied to the entire country and made a fool out of General Colin Powell which is probably why he now supports Obama now! I have a great respect for our military, and every effort should be made to protect them. But Bush sent them over to fight without even the proper equipment to a war that should have never been fought. Where were the complaints then? I hate to even think that this poor soldier is being used by a political machine to disgrace a sitting president. That would be a slap in the face to the honor of every Soldier currently serving and every soldier that has worn the Navy Seal uniform. Danger is everywhere in the Middle East. For decades our brave soldiers have been under attack, the USS Cole, Somalia, etc. Never have I ever seen a Seal try to disgrace a sitting president. I cannot help but think that he is being used as a prop to disenfranchise voters against Obama and am deeply saddened by it. Seals are supposed to be the most honorable of men, let the process work and the truth come out, do not make this a commercial for the GOP to try to win an election.

500 Former Generals, Admirals Announce Support for Romney In Powerful Full-Page Ad

Roughly 500 senior military officials are endorsing Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney in a full-page ad set to run in the Washington Times on Monday, the Washington Free Beacon reports.

“We, the undersigned, proudly support Governor Mitt Romney as our nation’s next President and Commander-in-Chief,” the ad reads, followed by a staggering list of names and titles. Many of the signatories are former generals and admirals.

TheBlaze was sent an advanced copy of how the ad is expected to appear:

500 Generals, Admirals Endorse Mitt Romney in Full Page Washington Times Ad

500 Generals, Admirals Endorse Mitt Romney in Full Page Washington Times Ad

500 Generals, Admirals Endorse Mitt Romney in Full Page Washington Times Ad

The group is making it clear that they are not directly affiliated with the Romney campaign– these 500 senior military leaders created and paid for the ad themselves.

The Washington Free Beacon concludes:

The [group's] spokesman added that 389 of the individuals on the list are on the Romney Military Advisory Council, too. The Romney campaign has already announced these individuals’ endorsement.

“They have 389 on their list,” the spokesman said, while “we have almost 500.”

The list comes as a Military Times survey revealed that active duty, National Guard, and military reserve members support Romney over Obama by a two to one margin.

Obama is personna non grata with four thick heads? Because four servicemen were killed in a cowardly attack by insurgents in their own country attacking those they perceived as enemy combatants. Give me a break. Then to raise the name of Bush a war dodger is beyond the pale.

I believe it was during his Presidebntial incumbency that Israel attacked the U S S Liberty, killing and maiming many Navy men, when wrecking their ship, and wasn't it his grand father who was in command of the U S Warship that didn't go to the aid of the stricken U S S Liberty on the orders of the U S Government, (Republican) as it would offend the Israelis. Then to add insult to the many injuries the Navy personnel were forbidden to mention the incident. SEALING it from public scrutiny for many years.

This Person has done more damage to the USA IN 4 years than any other President in the History of America ~ And people want to vote for this ?!?!? WHAT?????? I certainly would not want to be in the Military or a parent of one that is in the Military under this PERSON!!! I say Person because, in MY HEART This is ONLY a PERSON and has NEVER EVER IN THE ENTIRE 4 years shown me any type of Leadership...Just a TON OF DISTRUCTION!!! I could never address this PERSON AS MR. President! I would walk away before I ever did that!

This is totally stupid. One joins the Services voluntarily. The President appoints Generals, etc. to make sure that the plans of war go well. The Pres. does not run the show. If things go badly, the application of the plan was not good, and should reflect the training and the leadership of the personnel. I have never heard a remark or statement by Obama that does not respect the work of the people who do the actual fighting. Since when does anyone who takes a job get to "dislike" their CEO or boss, and get to be listened to and it isn't political, but a personal problem. Vote for whomever you wish, but don't try to influence others because of your personal problems.
