Six exotic animals that were among dozens freed by their suicidal owner and survived a big-game hunt by sheriff's deputies with shoot-to-kill orders will be kept under quarantine at a zoo for now instead of going to his widow, the state Department.

You've got to be kidding?? I sure don't know the whole story, but if she's so concerned, why didn't she get
the man some help before he caused this tragedy?

These wild animals should NOT be returned to Mrs Thompson. It's a no brainer. Where is hers?

Obviously it was this woman's selfishness & that of her husbands that perpetuated the tragedy in Ohio in the first place! The nerve of her, in light of all that has transpired, to actually ask to have these animals back.

The surviving animals need to return to their natural habitat. There are plenty of homeless cats and dogs who would love to have a large enclosed area in which to thrive. And Mrs. Thompson would be able to form relationships with these animals that involved physical contact --rather than endanger her neighbors and the animals themselves, and serve as a constant reminder of the tragedy that took place because of the irresponsibility of both her and her late husband.

The Ohio governor better get off his ass, and make sure the ban for private ownership passes with flying colors. This woman is so idiotic, and selfish. The animals belong somewhere like a sanctuary where they can roam. Do what's right for the animals. They are not pets!!!! Thanks Lindsey.

I do not think the living conditions for those poor animals was even close to adequate. She does not need to get them back and have another situation where they could do harm or be harmed themselves. That whole scenario was a great tragedy for the animals that were killed.

OMG! GRRRRRRRRRRRRR Absolutely NOT!

Sad to say, but the guy should of done both them in, and left these creatures alone...I am still in SHOCK that he was allowed to have this many wild creatures! Insane! If she got any creatures back, there is going to be one of the biggest outcries of all time...She is Crazy to even ask!
