Personally, I consider that irresponsible behavior. I hope those people don't regret their decisions to have such close interactions with wild animals if, indeed, they "live."

I know it is crazy and weird...I just thought it was worth sharing. The fact that the snake has not eaten the little boy yet and even laid in his crib with him is pretty remarkale to me. But I do agree it is irrespinsible behavior. I would never let my kid play with a 20 ft python!!

I think I heard a while back that Pocho the Crocodile died...I think it was him. I am not sure about snakes, I dont trust people that they dont take out their fangs...they do that with the Cobras and they die eventually, they use them in their snake charming scam and they slowly die of hunger because they cant eat....Kevin Richardson is the only one id trust...thanks Lindsey! very interesting.

A very interesting article. I am afraid it is only a matter of time before the snake harms the boy.

Awesome. Thank you. I really feel sorry for Kevin Richardson. He really could make lions love him.

The article seemed to describe people who had a modicum of respect for the animals they communed with. As a parent, I'd have put that python outdoors because I expect her to eat rats; if she shows a second time I'd seriously check the house for rodent problems and if I found any, I'd 'hire' the snake to eat 'em. With the other critters, same thing; I'd promote leaving them in their environment and trying to co-exist with them because billions of years of 'natural' experimentation and production is likely more complete than just a couple of centuries.

Oh my goodness! This is amazing. Especially the snake one. I hope the two way respectful relationships continue with no ill happenings.

There are some people that have that connection with a specific animal.
I love these stories because it gives us a look into a connection that most of us never experience.
By the way Jill mentioned the croc Pocho died. I saw a picture in the paper showing a funeral for him.

I would love to be around the lions but I'll let the others do their thing.
