O wow. I speculate (big speculation) that Eclipse may have climbed up in there to keep warm. Cats in my neighborhood will often be under cars, or on top of the car where the engine is. Especially, if the owner just came home, the top of the car is still warm. I always see kitty paws on top of my car. O thank the stars he survived! Poor baby - what an adrenalin rush!

wow, glad it made it... so often in winter they like to climb under the hood when there is still engine warmth they just aren't usually this lucky...

What a great kitty. There he is hurting and scared but just loves to be petted and cuddled. I hope they find his owners. If not, I know there will be lots of people who would like to give him a home. Another reason for people to keep their cats indoors.

Aw, poor baby! I hope Eclipse finds a loving home after that ordeal. He looks so much like my cat "Bonkers" that has since passed. Glad he made it safe & sound! Thanks Lindsey.

This is not the first time I read about a cat crawling under a car, and it traveled with the cat a distance - not 2oo miles! It would not have survived a longer trip considering its burns. He really looks like a sweet guy.
