The political group founded by Mark Zuckerberg, "Fwd.us", is spending more than a million dollars running ads to support candidates who voted the wrong way on drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and on the Keystone XL tar sands pipeline. And Facebook is reportedly rejecting ads that criticized Fwd.us for taking this action. This is absurd. Facebook and Mark Zuckerberg should not be supporting dirty energy and the political allies of dirty energy companies. Sign our petition to make sure Mark Zuckerberg hears how much we dislike this!

Subject: Unlike Facebook's Founder: Stop supporting Keystone XL and Arctic drilling!

Hi,

The political group founded by Mark Zuckerberg, "Fwd.us", is spending more than a million dollars running ads to support candidates who voted the wrong way on drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and on the Keystone XL tar sands pipeline. And Facebook is reportedly rejecting ads that criticized Fwd.us for taking this action. This is absurd. Facebook and Mark Zuckerberg should not be supporting dirty energy and the political allies of dirty energy companies. Sign our petition to make sure Mark Zuckerberg hears how much we dislike this!

That's why I signed a petition to Mark Zuckerberg, Founder of Facebook and Fwd.us.

It would of course be much more effective and compelling if there would be a mass cancellation of FB accounts but I assume only very fewwould be ready to take that step.

noted and signed the petition on 5-3-13 this man is worth millions if not billions of dollars if he wants to throw his money around and back something so instead of backing a dirty tar sands pipeline throw your money towards helping out the unemployed that can not find a job or towards helping keep our environment clean and free or better yet our endangered animals I have said it time and time again I will sign every petition out there that deals with the dirty tar sands project and destroys our environment and wildlife and will keep on doing this until these idiots get the clue tars sands are not welcomed in the united states or anywhere else for that matter go away and stay away your not welcomed.

you all have heard/read that there was ANOTHER SPILL in Missouri on Apr 1 !?
AGAIN the EXXON PEGASUS pipeline! (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/05/01/missouri-oil-spill-exxon_n_3194177.html?ir=Green )

That ad by Zuck's group is intended to change the public opinion on KXL and just MIGHT also influence the new environmental assessment yet to be issued by the DOS, the mighty lobby behind it, Zuck's stakeholders I assume.

Lynn P.- maybe, maybe not. If there's a massive loss in users and likes at the same time, this WILL be noticed and would be image and share damaging to his sponsors. We should send a clear message.
