I don't trust PETA since it was caught doing this in NYC. They'd take animals from clinics saying they would find a family for them, but instead they'd put the dogs in a van and killed them. After that, their little bodies were placed in a garbage dump. They're cruel. ;(

I heard about that to, I sure hope they lose huge donations, I also read the CEO of the place pockets much of the donated money.

NOT true.
PLEASE 'google' "The Center For Consumer Freedom" and "Rick Berman" (aka Dr. Evil).
The CCF is a rich and powerful lobby group who makes tons of money from factory farms, etc. They do what they can to discredit PETA, The HSUS, even MADD!!
SourceWatch has a detailed article on the CCF.

Go to PETA's website (or call them) and get the FACTS on the animals they deal with. Several months ago I submitted an article about that very subject.

(due to computer and Care2 issues I cannot provide links)

I researched it this is true. They of course will provide links to make people think it isn't true so they can continue to get donations from people not paying attention. The lady running it was caught red handed and video taped, Isn't awfully strange they are trying to ake it illegal to video the abuse of even farm animals.

I am not sure what is going on here - but after reading bits and pieces there must be some truth in what people are saying about them - I do not support PETA.
