You are welcome Suzybell. I have not been diagnosed but have many similar symptoms. So I have sometimes wondered if I have it to a lesser degree. I have been going to a therapist for pain management (from injuries from a fall) and counseling for other reasons. There is a Neurobehavioral program my therapist has done with me that has helped immensely. I don't know how many doctors and/or therapists there are that do this but I think it would be, from my own experience, a good thing to check into. If anything, it helps you train your mind and body to relax, release tension from stress and emotional issues. Here is a link if you are interested. I just want to share this information. http://www.neurobehavioralprograms.com/ I hate taking prescription drugs for pain. I don't tolerate them well so I jumped at the opportunity to try this program and it worked for me. I am still learning but i am now able to decrease my level of pain without medications.

Thank you! I always appreciate any new information on Fibromyalgia. I have had a severe form of it for 42 years and understand that it can show itself in many various ways, it can effect each person differently, and it can indeed become crippling. I am always happy to hear of folks who are diagnosed in time for treatments to be helpful!!

Thanks Peace. I've had FM all my life, but severely since 2000. Pain management is a constant occupation. Grateful for the love of my family (who finally understand), my pets, and my mates here in Care2. Hugs to you all.

Thank you Peace. My RA blossomed into FM last year. I am always looking for ways to connect to others with FM and find out what is working for them. Blessings, Rain

Thannx... this is a nasty condition and very dehabilitating disease to have... so pleased that it has finally been recognised as such. Hopefully there will be more naturla products to help those with this

Thank you so much for putting this article out there. The more people that recognize the reality of the daily impact of Fibromyalgia the better. I still get the 'all in your head' or the 'you're just lazy' stuff from people.
It's so frustrating.
