As long as we humans, the thinking persons, don't change our way in how we "look" at animals, we will never gonna change.

Quote: It should not be believed that all beings exist for the sake of the existence of man. On the contrary, all the other beings too have been intended for their own sakes and not for the sake of anything else.
-Maimonides - (physician and philosopher)

Quote: "There is no religion without love, and people may talk as much as they like about their religion,
but if it does not teach them to be good and kind to animals as well as man it is all a sham.”

Noted and signed, boycotting their products sure helps. This is really an issue that makes me ill. Its like Marieemma says"cruelty is going to stop, when people opens their heart to God !!! " thx Emil.

I believe that the time of a huge animal awareness campaign is coming pretty soon, one that will create and implement the proper testing , etc.. The political shift has been made and must settle in , the spiritual shift is obviously on the RISE which coincides with our furry friends.

Even in a lab animals deserve to be treated well. All these labs must be closed down.

My good friend Suzanna, you said it all. Man does not hold dominion over this earth we are just egotistical enough to think we do.

We are the care takers of the animals to love them and show them respect. They are not to be treated like this at all, for to thoese who inflict pain upon them will one day be inflicted themselves. Thanks Emil Petition signed

It is a really sad case. I live in Delhi and I know that a huge, government funded hospital like AIIMS will not back down easily. All they might do is carry on the testing even more covertly. I hate thatmy country is so far nehind in the fight for animal rights. There are a lot of good people doing some very good work for animals at a personal level, helping strays with vetinary care and food but the government places animal rights very low on its list of priorities.
The nearing Common Wealth Games scares me because they want to clean up the city and the most immediate sufferers are the strays, who till now live happily on the street being fed and cared for by people.
