This leads to the titular case, in which the U.S. government, which had already been monitoring his actions for some time, attempted to deport the star for fear of the threat he posed to the nation

I watched this documentary last year. It was fantastic! I had my three children watch it and later discussed the content with them. I learned a lot about Lennon and the antiwar movement that I had never known before...I was born in 1976, so... I highly recommend this film. Peace. ;)

In Tinkie's Care2 network message to us, she wrote: "Now I know why we don't have any left wing leaders left to help us out of this predicament; they have all been assasinated in the past by the Political/Economic/Military Elite."

But Tinkie, and everyone, please be aware that there are many leftwing leaders alive today, such as Hugo Chavez, Evo Morales, Raul Castro, Fidel Castro, Rafael Correa, the Socialist Workers Party (in the USA), Cynthia McKinney and the Greens Party (in many countries, including the USA), etc.. And anyone can choose to become a leftwing leader, e.g. if we want to do different to the leaders who are around.

Many of these peace loving activists were considered a thorn in the governments side... because of the awareness they raised concerning the issues of that time.. it is a case of perhaps losing votes to the other side..
