It appears Pope Francis truly wants to change the Catholic Church. He's reforming the Vatican Bank first, but he's also circumventing the old guard wherever he can. The establishment is up in arms

It seems like the Vatican has done something unusual in the political world. They've elected a truly honest and honorable man.

I wonder if he will last or if they will kill him because he is trying to take away the power and perks

While I am no fan of the Catholic church it's till an important part of our world. Straightening out the Vatican Bank is good start.

Will the day come for the Vatican to release its holdings of articles belonging to Italian Jews who died in the Holocaust? These are the bare ones of the Church. Until the holdings of Pious are released, sold, and the money given back to the survivors, the Church can play all they want with their financial holdings.
