It was bad enough leaving them alone, but that late at night??!! I can't even believe that he did that. Good thing nothing happened to those children.

He must not be a parent or have any common sense! Hopefully, he gets a "desk job" until he aquires both! I always enjoyed vacationing in Colorado, mmmmmmm, my family and I will have to re-think those plans.....

What an idiot! I hope that he looses his job if he hasn't already. The children's mothers need to get a really good lawyer and sue the pants off him (after they're allowed to give him the butt kicking that he deserves)! I would. I'm a Mom and a grandmother and this has really made me angry.

The Officer should be severely reprimanded for what he did. There is no excuse for his stupidity. If he shows that kind of "compassion", he should be sued for neglect, thrown off the force and sent to Iraq.

TY, Marty.

If the Mom had left the children like that she would have been arrested and the children removed from her care. The officer should be arrested on child abuse. IMHO
