Marriage really can be a matter of the heart with a U.S. study finding that happily married couples have lower blood pressure than single people.

So if you like to have a good blood pressure, be happy with your partner.
Ridiculous

What about the unhappily married. Surely, their blood pressure is way high up.

What if you don't have money to support the marriage? Would an optimum blood pressure secure a loan from the Bank?

noted not so true i think look at how many have it doesn't mean you aren't at risk

What if your husband abuses you and raises your normally low blood pressure to above normal?

There are couples who get along greatly with each other. They love and care for each other, yet one OR even both of them have HIGH blood pressure [BP]. Next question is, what about those who are NOT happily married.... I am much happier single, than I ever was in my married life. I suffer from LOW blood BP and LOW blood sugar [hypoglycemia]. Guess in order for me to live to great old age is stay single? Think NOT. Plan on getting married when I meet my SoulMate. Believe I will STILL be happy when I re-marry. Do NOT think it will lower my BP, or it would likely kill me.
