A very cool-looking ant (I LOVE insects) but cursed with a very silly name. It looks extraordinary....just, not extraterrestrial.

Awesome. I hope they don't get the same treatment as animals from Earth get.

What a unique little creature! I never knew that ants evolved from wasps, and this ant has that appearance. Thanks, Ingrid.

never thought ants evolved from wasps either.
heard someone say that even though we're loosing species every day --- the AMAZON is making new ones (yes, i know this is an old species), because so much living life teems in the jungle.

You learn something new everyday. Not one on evolution myself so the wasp thing is hard for me. This little guy is kind of cute. Hope they don't go invading his space like they do so many species. Curiosity is ok but they need to learn to look but not touch. The rainforest is giving us something new all the time. Isn't it a wonderful place?
