I do not either. I'd love to know how the judge determined that he was a "low risk to offend again". Even if that were true, how about other child rapists that he was exchanging images with? This seems especially stupid since he had already agreed to serve time and the judge decided on his own to let him be free.

wha???? the judge let him go??? what the H????? the judge is as guilty as the guy is, for letting this 47 y.o. man loose AGAIN...it's known that people like this w/do it again, and again. how sick does a man have to be, for his attorney AND the prosecutor to argue to the judge for a complete suspension of prison time???boy, talk about rights?? and another thing, if i lived in that community, i'd sure as the dickens make sure that everyone in that community knew where this BAS---- lived, and watch him like a hawk. i would resent an person living in my neighborhood with this kind of record. i hope that children are safe there, i truly do....

i guess the judge is a freind of his...or maybe he just doesnt care. i've seen more stupid/disappointing news in the last 3 yrs than i thought id ever see. bet you nothing happens to that politician either. this admin. just doesnt care about its own citizens.

I consider myself a non-violent person, but state or federal, there should be NO leniency for child pornography, sex offenders & abusers!

There was another story not long ago where the judge let a guy walk because he was "too short" for prison...who cares if he is too short...the guy should have thought about it before he committed the crime. I believe that any adult who is a sex offender should be off the streets for good!

For sure I’ve never had faith in judges court system, as I believe when imaginary money is the reward for doing a job then we can hire lawyers despite of the fact that we are guilty. A judge can also be compromised.
But this might be my experience growing up in Kenya where the entire system is corrupt and money determines who is guilty and who's not.

Miyere; your note makes alot of sense. Mexico is like Kenya. It's all a matter of money and how many people present themselves for "payment." Corrupt judicial systems. Americans have always felt our system had a certain amount of integrity. Maybe it's simply more sophistication and integrity has nothing to do with it.
