Britain's winter ends tomorrow with further indications of a striking environmental change: snow is starting to disappear from our lives. within a few years winter snowfall will become "a very rare and exciting event".

I have lived up and down the coast of California my entire life, and only experienced snow twice in my life. Perhaps, because it was novelty to me, I found the experience of snow breathtakingly beautiful. I read the sharebook, and felt deeply grieved....not for myself, but for future generations.

Well, it's hard to imagine snow removal before we had big, powered plows, so of course our experience of snow is different.
The occasional heavy snowfall that we saw in 2010 was disruptive, so this description from 2009 seems a trifle to me.

According to our learned Republican congressmen in Washington, there is no such thing as global warming or climate change! How they ever got to Congress is beyond me!
Snow, lovely, lovely snow and freezing temperatures that give the kiddies a day away from school so they can play... while mothers and fathers complain of having to scrape the ice off their cars and shovel snow from their sidewalks. Will it be missed once it's gone... most definitely! And, if I'm still around when that time comes, I will surely it's pristine beauty...
Noted, and thanks for the article, Parsifal. Peace, my friend...

I had just finished reading Audrey's Sharebook: Elites Heading for Fall Out Shelters, when I noticed your share article! I read it all & commented on it on your share. Then went to check on my in-coming e-mails. I will just paste my entry here from the share entry.
Where I am there was more snow this year then in the past 10 years! The so called experts on this are either delusional or have an ulterior motive for making this prediction! Is there anything believable now or are we being fed BS to suit their planned agenda. Any one still speaking truth or are we all living in a virtual world??? One does not know who to believe! Thanks Parsifal!

I myself use to believe in the Global Warming theory until the leader of the theory that claimed all of the gasses/pollutions created by man was the reason and yet he used more power to heat and cool his home than it took to heat or cool MANY homes. At least if someone is going to cry wolf they themselves should take heed and lead the way. This man didn't which has caused me to think twice about this. I myself think that if scientists would stop playing around with Mother Nature the weather patterns may just get back to what they were. One thing for sure is if the earth last monger than some of us think it will... the fact will either be proven or disproven that the snow will end some day. Thanks Parsi! Wishing you the best and enjoy your Spring! I know I will here too!! Noted!!

I love watching the seasons come and go. Each one is special and perfect. Even as I welcome the sun in spring, I think of missing the snowfall in winter. But I am very fortunate I have known both, and I know that if we care for our world, I'll experience the seasons again. Like the seasons, you have come into my life and now are going away. But we are fortunate because when friends meet and part, neither are the same again. You have made my life better. You left me a favorite song, "Here Comes the Sun." I will leave you with a favorite poem:

"Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening" by Robert Frost

Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.

My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.

He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound’s the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.

The woods are lovely, dark and deep.
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

Peace, love, & light, my dear friend Parsifal.

Thanks Parsifal, I'm sorry we could not be 'friends' on C2 but I'm happy for receiving your green stars and comments. Spring is so in the air here in the Netherlands as well, it's a time for renewal, growth, prosper and most of all LOVE! My favourite time of the year. Thanks for all your positive news, we could use so much more people like you. Hope you'll return soon. Thanks to Amour as well for forwarding.

Here you have an explanation for the Global Warming from my article in The National Alternative Energy Meetup:

The hot radiation of electromagnetic waves, that are light of the sun, pass through the CO2 (and other gases with the same effect) into the Earth, but the soil reflect that electromagnetic waves in a lower frequency, that is reflected again by the CO2 back to the soil and only a few hot radiation goes to out Space.

The greenhouse works the same way. That's why those gases are called "greenhouse effect gases". The increase of the temperature of the Earth, caused by this phenomenon is referred as the Global Warming.

There isn't much snow in the high desert, but we do get it. I love it when it snows. We had over 4 inches about 3 weeks ago and it was gorgeous!
now the pollen is flying through the air instead of snowflakes. ugh

Where I live in Florida we do not get snow and I do not miss it as I had snow many years when I lived in northern climate and being up in age now, I don't want to shovel it or deal with it anymore. But that is a personal choice, not something that was tampered with by mankinds foolish ways, Florida is at a certain point on the Earth it doesn't snow.

An American Indian messenger Chief Seattle stated, "Whatever befalls the earth, befalls the sons of earth...the earth does not belong to man, man belongs to the earth...all things are connected...man did not weave the web of life; he is merely a strand in it...whatever he does to the web, he does to himself."

Because of the Corporate powers of Consumption our Earth Mother has been ravaged, raped, and pillaged. It can't keep going that way, there is damage being done, there is finite resources, and the price will be asked in the end, and will be paid. How it is paid may be truly sad indeed. Until the great masses of Humanity rise to shed off this system of little concern for outcome, then the Few who run the Greed system who do not look towards tomorrow, we will keep going this way until disaster hits.

So we can't wait until "others" rise up, we must each rise up, and pull others along with us. I understand what Carol states, people do not Walk their Talk and they need to. These people need to step up as Leaders, they need to show by example a way of living without destruction. But if they don't then we still need to, push them aside as being part of the problem and you become part of the solution anyways.

I have just recently been connected to you Parsifal on Care2 so I'm sorry to see you leave as we sort of just met. But I do wish you well, my heart is empathetic towards you in what you have shared, and I'm sure you will continue to bring out the Truth no matter where you are or what you are doing.

Noted this very good article! Thanks to Amour for forwarding it to me. Nature to seems to worry some of us and we think change in it is not so good. Noting can stop any change. There is a change coming and we are warned of it.
Of course man-made nonsense can be avoided and worked at to have clean atmosphere and environment.
When I get back home, I shall read this article once again.

Thank you Parsifal.
Recently we're discussing the c2 cybertrolls, the software based profiles here, astroturfers, the c2- trap, where "oue" observers could evaluate us, also the issue, one cannot convince someone else in a discussion, in opposite, the other one only can learn by his own...
Hope, this did nor lead to your decition to leave the ship.

Well, toooo many good friends have left the ship...
After the dramatic loss of my mother and the shed of my (former) profile's login data, I never again gain a footing. Beautiful friends but not much of a grip.

Thinking of pull out c2 as well.

Thanks Parsifal one more for all you have done.
And this was alot.
Will meet you next life?

The Global Warming story....
Did noone READ the whole article?

It is 11 years old - the date of first publishing is written at the footnote.

And no Global Warming took place and it is still (or even more) snowing than in 2000...
In opposite, it even is getting colder - what recent extreme winter prank has proved.

Henriette.....yes, these are the exact thoughts that have been plaguing my mind for the last few weeks....it seems all whom I used to trust in the public sphere are talking out of two sides of their mouths-----for reasons, we later find out, that have nothing to do with the real issues. There have been truth tellers that are now accused of being "ministers of mis-information".....or are these accusers the real ministers of mis-information?? It's literally driving me nuts.

Thank you very much dear Pars. for this great post, and I'm sorry my friends for not being much in Care2 recently, due to the endless work :(.

Today, March 21, filling of many feasts and holidays, the day of the spring equinox, the start of spring as the flowers bloom and grow trees and birds sing. Also mother’s day , who is known in many countries of the world and has often made gifts for mothers on this day. And also raised the idea on date of Earth which accept all of us although all human diversity.

Choosing this day to be the mother's day to be a symbol of openness and serenity and beautiful feelings.

Everyday pass by and I have this wish that I could tell my mother and every mother

"Happy Mother's Day"

Hugs and kisses for all moms here :)

And colorful spring for the peoples of the world, with a lot of Love, Peace, and Harmony.

Peace on Earth,

in this day and age everything has to have a catch phrase and be marketed. frankly if you look at the farmers almanac you will see similar trends. but some corporation/media is trying to scare the pants off of us. should we recycle and be less wasteful, of course, never in history has man been so disrespectful of the planet. disposable this and that, it's terrible that all these lazy mothers have filled up landfill after landfill from their kids poopie diapers. instead of washing and how about all the plastic wrapped cookies and fruit and crackers that are consumed everyday. again use a Tupperware type container. but the kids they need the name brands to show off. shameful, when is the last time a appliance was fixed instead of it being thrown away and a new one bought... so many examples could be said but well there is a limit.

Reading all of the comments here has brought tears to my eyes. I find it so wonderful that people can develop love for one another without ever having met. I know this is not the subject, and I do feel very sad about what is going on in our world, the weather is only one aspect.
Parsifal. souls can be united with love and compassion between them being thousands of miles apart, that to me is a true miracle. You have with your genuinety, love, compassion, and also this sense of mystery about yourself, drawn the love and admiration of so many souls to yourself. Please try to make it back , also in my life I need to spend less time on care2, although it is hard to stay away entirely. But please try, you will be so missed, and eventhough you are not in care2, you are a beautiful soul in this world, making it a much, much better place. Thank you for all your support and your kind words which are a medicine to heart and soul. Please look after yourself and I only wish you all the success, health and happiness that there is to have.
God bless you, my precious friend.

Funny, I read this and thought ???

From: November 30th, 2010 at 11:41 am by Bill Steffen under Bill's Blog, Weather

Significant snow has fallen in England. Over 800 schools were closed today. Trains and planes were delayed. London could see up to 3″ of snow, with heavier accumulations to the north. This is the 2nd snowfall for much of England, the earliest significant snow in 17 years. November should end up one of the coldest in the past century in parts of England. In Northumberland, five days of wind and snow pushed snow drifts to two feet high. Llysdinam was the coldest location with a morning low temperature of -18C. Record low temperatures as cold as -9.5C were reported in northern Ireland. Parts of Wales and northern Ireland had their coldest November morning ever on Sunday. The Met Center said that “there is no sign in the extended outlook of the icy weather easing its grip”. Dublin, Ireland has 2″ of snow on the ground and they have had a snowcover now for 3 days. The temperature in Dublin dipped to 17F Monday morning. London hasn’t been warmer than 35 in the last 3 days and only three of the past 24 days have been warmer than average – barely.

Keep up the accurate reporting!

As I read this, it's snowing yet again. I refuse to shovel today though. I did enough of that in the winter. It's supposed to be spring now but we'll have temperatures in the teens this week. I guess Mother Nature can't read a man-made calendar.

I do love the snow though and look forward to all 4 seasons because of the changes they bring.

Thanks all c2 members, & friends for commenting and your huge sympathy.
Lots of compassion, wisdom, best wishes and benedictions arrived here on this small little island in a world of storm and uncertainities.
Indeed this green-blue planet is within a process of change and it is more than the climate or the magnetic field or the growing of a planet, we use to call "Mother Earth"...
Mother is in it's labor pains for a new paradigm.
A different one than ALL these past world outlooks.
A very distinct one!

We The Mankind standing at the cutting edge of a new time, a new prospect and most despised divine plan, our helpers from heavenly hierarchies, it is our task to make the change to better.
Start NOW.
This is the only time, existing - do not delay - stand up and make the best.
Do not wait for "The Others" to make the change for affection.
This is why you are here.
Divine travellers.

We are divine travelers
Stopping by for a moment
To happily experience each other
As friends, lovers, and family
Co-workers, teachers, and opposites
Co-existing perfectly
In an endless field of choices
Endless possibilities
Endless discovery
Endless joy

Love,

There are many different degrees of truth seekers my friend Pars, but your compassion for others leaves you at the top.

Thank you all for your insight.

I selected this article, as it had birthday yesterday.
The 11th. already.
Nothing changed since March 2000.
It might have become a little cooler, but maybe this is because our hearts have to beat in a surrounding of fear - artificial created fear, useful, dumb-down fear, good for those who patronize the New Order Of The World...

What evilists (around Maurice Strong and David Rockefeller among other beneficiaries with all their "environmental" NGO's, Think Tanks and shadowy organizations) have invented is the scum of Global Climate Change.

In the 70's, there was the fear of an other ice age, and the same gang which invented a so called Global Warming indeed at that time sprayed both the poles glaciers with black paint to avoid their growth...
Sane?

These evilists use Global Warming for their purpose of power and control.
Thus can only be achieved by creating fear, deep implanted to our minds and hearts.
Appealing to our environmental awareness by different means, such as brainwashing in United Main Stream Mass Media, as well as "social" networks like c2, mindmakers, self appointed, Think Tank trained appeared ... - and it only was a matter of time to convince us, there IS a huge peril, which only can be tackled if we act as one mankind.
Listen to their 24-7 mantra: "YES, GLOBAL WARMING IS REAL!"
Who is not with us... is the problem and such stating...
And, instead making tight environment protection laws for corporations, they blame individuals, causing Carbon Dioxide, when exhaling.
CO2 was appointed a poison gas by UNIPCC in October 2010.

This is why you can find Overpopulation groups (or should I say Eugenic groups) on c2.
&
This is, why I made this article to invite you all reconsidering your fears, collected in your entire life and use springtime equinox to detach old and worn out, yesterdays approaches of life.
To have sufficient space in your freed mind for the New Cosmic Age of Love.
Go, make the change.
Turn off the machine and search in the heart of hearts the burdening.
This is my advise.
Before I go.

If the warming and cooling cycle remains the same as it has been in the past, then Northern Europe will get back it's snow. When the ice in the arctic melts and dilutes the salt water in the N. Atlantic the ocean conveyor will stop bring the warm tropical waters North. Then the cold arctic air will return and a little ice age will come back. Don't throw out your warm cloths. Save them for your grand children.

Soon people will see GW as the business venture it is.
A business venture with the same predictable players
at the top of the pyramid scheme anxiously awaiting
the relining of their pockets.

The deception started in 1963 in the military bunkers
at Iron Mountain where they concocted this evil plan,
well before it was turned into a movement,
so they have had plenty of time to steer the public into their own demise.
LBJ classified this info as forbidden and never to be talked about,
but it leaked out eventually
and it's there for you to search out and discover for yourselves
if you take the time to do it.

Oil companies and big industry have purposely
destroyed the environment to cut corners or eliminate clean up costs
and are following this plan right in front of you as directed by our masters of profit.
The plan is to create a world wide movement to stop
it from happening and fooling them into a self imposed solution of lock down.

While they make the money- you pay for it, more and more each year,
and nothing ever gets better. Deregulation is the green light proof
of who your elected officials really work for.
We are forced to buy oil and support this cabal
when we can get the same production from water and electrodes
to produce hydrogen.

Is it any wonder this is happening to us when
the United States of America was incorporated in 1871
to be a business venture for profit by a few elite money masters.

Every aspect of our lives has been broken down to it's smallest
denominator, packaged and sold off to the highest bidder,
whatever the market will bear as time runs out for humanity.

The world needs more patriots like you Pars.
I hope your enjoying your day because it can easily
be man-U-factured to be different tomorrow.

However, this is for you, as I do not see any readiness for discussion and apparently (Thanks Cary) lack of credibility:
"I honor the place in you in which the entire universe resides.
I honor the place of light, love, truth, peace and wisdom within you.

In 25 years here in the Finger Lakes of NY we have seen less and less snow. Through our work with migratory birds we also have documented climate change as it affects birds. I should add that the propensity toward CAFOs or factory farming is destroying birds and habitat at a rate more alarming than climate change. When will we ever learn.......

"We need a new paradigm of development in which the environment will be a priority.
World civilization as we know it will soon end.
We have very little time and we must act.
If we can address the environmental problem, it will have to be done within a new system, a new paradigm.
We have to change our mindset, the way humankind views the world."
- Mikhail Gorbachev, founder of Green Cross International

"In my view, after fifty years of service in the United Nations system,
I perceive the utmost urgency and absolute necessity for proper Earth government.
There is no shadow of a doubt that the present political and economic systems are no longer appropriate and will lead to the end of life evolution on this planet.
We must therefore absolutely and urgently look for new ways."
- Dr Robert Muller, UN Assistant Secretary General

"Democracy is not a panacea. It cannot organize everything andit is unaware of its own limits.
These facts must be faced squarely.
Sacrilegious though this may sound, democracy is no longer well suited for the tasks ahead.
The complexity and the technical nature of many of today’s problems do not always allow elected
representatives to make competent decisions at the right time."
- Club of Rome, The First Global Revolution

"The current course of development is thus clearly unsustainable.
Current problems cannot be solved by piecemeal measures.
More of the same is not enough.
Radical change from the current trajectory is not an option, but an absolute necessity.
Fundamental economic, social and cultural changes that address the root causes of poverty and environmental degradation are required and they are required now."

"Effective execution of Agenda 21 will require a profound reorientation of all human society, unlike anything the world has ever experienced a major shift in the priorities of both
governments and individuals and an unprecedented redeployment of human and financial resources. This shift will demand that a concern for the environmental consequences
of every human action be integrated into individual and collective decision-making at every level."

I don't think it is possible under capitalism"

Henriette, please consider, saving the planet because of GW has nothing to do with sustainable environment.
Rockefeller's 350.org would not clearly define the difference?

... Has anyone ever saved a planet?
...
Wow, THAT's a job!

Caring for environment on the contrary became to most of us bred in the bone.
Not more we can do.
Blaming individuals causing the figment of GW giving corporations the ad-lib ticket to carry on polluting OUR environment.

Thank you all for commenting/noting/sharing.
You have done a great job, making a difference!

You see, we are not just caught in condition of fear, we were brought up, considering anxieties a standard condition.
Something wrong with this configuration!
It was your taxpayer's money enables mindmakers to implant this sick status/mindset of deficiency awareness.

(Guess, I have done my humble part to let you feel, we are divine "by design" (:) to have the chance - find out - remember - how deep we became distracted [by fearmongers] from our original affectionate, spanking celestial blueprint).

This is also the reason, those "evilists" deflect us from our real being with their fear-tools, keeping us small and dirigible by inventing artificial threads i.e. terrorists... or natural disasters, economy collapse...
And they are damn*d good in their fancy.
Once you realise how they tick, you have the chance to get their trick.
And find out, why they hate us so much.

fear is the opposite of Love.

I give you a hint to find Love:
Everything which does not feel like Love...
is fear.
Get rid of it, crap bowl # 17!

So good to now be among your friends. The earth has been through rough times before, and it will survive the defiant, angry, foolish behavior of humans. May God be with you, forever and always thereafter.

"We've got to ride the global warming issue.
Even if the theory of global warming is wrong, we will be doing the right thing, in terms of economic policy and environmental policy. "
- Timothy Wirth quoted in Science Under Siege by Michael Fumento, 1993

(Timothy Wirth is a follower of the teachings Thomas Malthus, the British economist who predicted in 1789 that the planet's rapid increase in population would soon outstrip the planet's ability to produce food resulting in massive worldwide starvation.
Of course, Malthus' predicted famine never materialized.
He could not have predicted the industrial revolution nor the enormous impact of subsequent technological innovations would have on our ability to produce food.
Unlike Malthus, Wirth had the benefit of such knowledge.
Nonetheless, he predicted the same thing upon his election to Congress in 1974, asking, "Are we going to blow ourselves off the face of the globe or are we going to propagate ourselves off the face of the globe?" )
