Dozens of baby girls in southern China have reportedly been taken from parents who broke family-planning laws, and then sold for adoption overseas.

How horrible.. I couldn't imagine having this happen to me. I feel so sorry for the parents. Noted with disgust. Thanks Jackie.

As a mother of 5 with 2 grandchildren......This makes me very upset.....I feel very sorry for the parents and for the children as well.....

There's lots of weird stuff here, isn't there...
It is appalling that children can be snatched from loving parnets like this...
What is the significance tho' of the fact that this seems to be about baby GIRLS?
Do the Chinese authorities "turn a blind eye" if the child is a boy?
We have had stories before, that boys are much more favoured than girls (not just in China, of course)
Also, there have been many people here in the West, praising China for its family planning policies, especially where population concerns are voiced
I just ask these questions to find out the truth
