The reason for this declaration by Jesus is that he was aware of himself as a finished specimen of the new humanity which is to come--the new humanity which is to inherit the Earth, establish the Kingdom, and usher in the New Age..

"...just as, long ago, self-consciousness appeared in the best specimens of our ancestral race in the prime of life, and gradually became more and more universal and appeared in the individual at an earlier age, until, as we see it now, it has become almost universal and appears at the average of about three years--so will Cosmic Consciousness become more and more universal earlier in the individual life until the race at large will possess this faculty. The same race and not the same; for a Cosmic Conscious race will not be the race which exists today, any more than the present race of men is the same race which existed prior to the evolution of self-consciousness. The simple truth is, that there has lived on the Earth, "appearing at intervals," for thousands of years amoung ordinary men, the first faint beginnings of another race; walking the Earth, and breathing another air of which we know little or nothing, but which is, all the same, our spiritual life, as its absence would be our spiritual death. This new race, is in the act of being born from us, and in the near future it will occupy and possess the Earth."

Good message. The real story and way of Christ has been sadly mis-directed. The creators of religion, with political agendas distort the truth. Thanks for what you do in the name of real Christ Consciousness.

Love & Peace

Philippians 2:5-9 "Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus; who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God; but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him a name which is above every name...."

We are Light bearers to a greater Resurrection. What could be more wonderful than that.

It seems odd to me that people who do not care about these stories or Christianity would even bother to read or respond to these posts unless they have nothing better to do than to be your nemesis, Scott.

Peace to you,

Debra

This story -for me is about references in history- Jesus being one of the most well known --as I see it -it is also about the loss of contact with the divine within each of us and correcting the misunderstanding of what has stood and been taught from the pulpit regarding Jesus's teachings. What has been prior taught- as far as I can tell- has been nothing more than a perversion/misunderstanding of Christianities original speakers, intentions/words.We are all a divine spark of Creation and we are are all evolving in awareness and so much more- The fact that Jesus and his message are being interperted correctly (My opinion) for a change is inspiring- my favorite quote from the gentle Nazerine is---these things I do you can do and greater than these-and the one where he stated -What know ye not that ye are Gods? Thanks Scott Blessings

I have a challenge for all the non-believers out there. Read "A Case for Christ" written by Lee Strobel. Lee was a strongly confirmed atheist who worked as a journalist and had his PHD in law. He became angry when his wife accepted Christ into her life and set out to prove her wrong. He liked to feel he was in complete control and had created their successful lifestyle on his own. There was no room for God or Christ to take any credit. In his book he interviews many renown scientists, archeologists, and theologists. His journey takes him full circle as along the way he discovers that the case for Christ is so strong that it would hold up in any court of law over and over again. I found the first few chapters are so factual that I had a struggle getting through but after that it is an exciting and revealing book.

He has also written a book title "A Case for Creation" for all the believers in evolution. The false teachings of evolution in our school systems has led many to become non-believers. Evolution is still just a theory and a very weak one as much of the initial evidence had been concocted by ambitious scientists. I dare you to check these books out.

I think they should have a section, for all fake news, like most of the stuff here on care2.

Freedom of speech, very simple Elgin, and Faith,

- why do you keep looking at my news?

don't look at it and it doesn't exist in your world,

you must be interested... or you wouldn't keep checking my news.

well its a little hard not to see your news when it is posted on mass what 8 a day all dealing with religion and i think you and others would enjoy having your own space here on care2 to post all your religion material .......AND NO ONE IS SAYING TO REMOVE YOUR FREEDOM OF SPEECH WHICH SINCE YOU ARE NOT A UNITED STATES CITIZEN DOES NOT APPLY TO YOU ....or have you forgot that bush is in the white house .......AND SINCE CARE2 IS PRIVATE ENTITY NO SUCH GUARANTEE is given to any of us by them .......

AGAIN I ONLY SAID THIS IS WHY WE NEED A SECTION ON CARE2 FOR RELIGION AND SPIRITUAL POSTS .........SINCE THEY ARE NOT CONSIDERED NEWS ......BY MANY FIND THEM OF VALUE

WHOA Scott-you took insult where it was not intended by me. I have always supported you and all I was agreeing to was a section like health and wellness or enviroment ect. if you do not agree -fine that is your right -I do not deserve this from you friend. It was you who called it a section for fake news not me- I was not suggesting or implying that this was not news or unworthy - you should know better than that- I was only thinking it needed a larger forum. Also Chris you and I are not in agreement here for if people do not want to note something -they do not have to click on it and furthermore it seems that many would disagree with you about whether this is news since many note it to get it to the front page. I consider this a form of news and believe it has great value- I just thought that a section devoted to it might allow a wider input-

I apologise, Faith,.. that Elgin always seems to be able to get to me, and I got you involved, unfortunately, and after I submitted it I knew I would be hearing from you.
I really am sorry.

Scott

It won't happen again, and I'll post this in the comments.

OK, Faith, we will have to agree to dissagre, I do not see this as news, especially not Science and Technology for goodness sake!!!!! I would have to agree with Elgin - it is kind of hard to "avoid" this kind of news when it is posted under every catagory en mass almost daily!!!! Scott seems to think he posts the only "real" news ... I think he is a bit stuck on himself...and therefore he posts his "preachings" everywhere! He feels he has the "right" to post his opinions on others threads - but look at how huffy he gets when someone oposes him on his threads...Scott speaks of "freedom of speach" but as I pointed out to him, it appears some speach is more free for some than others!!!

okay i am going to make myself clear here .........THE COMPANY IS LOCATED IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA .........it is owned by u.s citizens ......it is private .......and the laws which apply to it are the laws related to the united states .....i am by no way saying that i agree with the fact that non united states citizens are not guaranteed freedom of speech under the united states constitution but thats the way things are ......AND SCOTT if one is going to bring up AUSTRALIA one needs to know they ummmmmmmmmmmmmmm are not guaranteed by their own constitution freedom of speech and only what was it 1992 or 3 that some but not all political speech was said to be protected but without it in their constitution its not really there now is it .........

BUT I AM NOT BEING NASTY .........wouldnt ya like a area in the news where you could post all these lovely op ed pieces about your spiritual beliefs and i know others would love it toooooooooooooooooo

If I do not want to read something or listen -I don't and if someones comment is offensive to me then I just click off-or answer as I see fit - there is soooooo many wonderful things in my life to see and do- so I do not spend time with what I do not want to- or have to- What if I died tommorrow and had spent today with something that I had control over but had spent it with something annoying to me by choice-HMMMM-nope not me- ya'll do as you see fit- I will be somewhere singing- Blessings

Maybe, but if one sees something wrong, and ignores it, it often just gets worse - sometimes you need to speak your mind...

Chris Otahal (318)

and if someone holds them selves higher than another because he believes in the "right" god, or because he has money, or because he has influence, one needs to speak out - otherwise that person will continue because they know they can get away with it...

I am not trying to be a donkey...K I am very outspoken yes I dont beleive in god but I am NOT a bad person and all my friends do accept this and DONT preach to me or try to badger me on this god thing. I do read Scotts stories but it doesnt change how I feel about your god. I grew up with a penecostal granny for goodness sake and cannot fathom how one beieves something that has come from a book, you may call me ignorant you may hate me but THAT within itself isnt very Christian is it by your gods standards??? Yes I have even read the bible front to back and it makes for a good story but that is all I see in it...Oh I am sooooooooo gonna be slammed on this...but had to get it off my chest. I do have alot of church going friends to and they understand. I dont say to my churchy friends that there isnt a god and try to argue with them I truley accept their beleifs isnt that the way life is supposed to be to have understanding and love for all no matter who or what they beleive??? This is just my philosophy and the way I see it. I think all here are genuine people and I respect all of you....

People are entitled to beleive what they will - whatever works for them - who is to say you must be a christian or whatever else. Scott is also on my friends list I note the majority of his posts. It is like anything in life - we all have differing opinions - no one opinion is right - or THE TRUTH. It is only ONE TRUTH a truth for that person. There are MANY TRUTHS - just as people will believe in many things. I am not a christian - my religion is KINDNESS!!!. Peace & Harmony Surround You All. TY Scott. Blessings.
