I loved it he is truely a smart man and speaks the truth thanks Scott this is the best video I have seen in a long time I believe in his teachings, If we could only live they way they did again. Life would be so simple nature would tell us what we are to do we would learn from the animals and grow from the land.

He speaks the truth and another thing too he should have said, Columbus did not discover American, How could he? The Native American's were already here. The whole truth of Columbus he stoled America from them he killed, raped, burned the women as witches, He wanted the riches of the land Diamonds and rubies in mines but they had no need of theses they lived off the land only. I nor my grand childern honor this man or Columbus day. I hear of his name and it makes me want to spit on the ground, one day the truth is going to come out. Thanks Scott

Columbus Day should be taken off all calendars and history books changed from hero to murderer. He was no hero and is not recognized as such in my household. Instead, make that a day to honor the Native Americans that where here long before any of us where and those that are living today. Also, there is a lot to be learned by studying their heritage.

Bergstrom and Virginia (and anyone else who shares those views) - most (and probably all) cultures have been guilty of waging war against their neighbors to acquire territory and resources. You should read up on Native American history which clearly shows how various tribes committed genocide against their neighbors, stole land, enslaved other Native Americans, and the like (I'm not saying every single tribe was guilty of all of those things throughout the entirety of its history - only that it was not uncommon among Native American tribes.) Every nation across the face of the earth holds land which once belonged to some other culture. And the culture they stole it from stole it from someone else before them. Why is it that only Europeans are considered guilty because of the way in which we acquired this country? Why is it that our enslavement of black Africans is so widely condemned while the enslavement of black Africans by other black Africans is brushed over historically? Slavery, opression, war, theft of land has existed ever since human beings evolved on this earth. Americans are no worse than any of those cultures - and significantly better than many of them.

Lindsey......The reason so much has been said/done about slavery in modern times is because of 21st century proponents who make a living off of what happened eons ago.

The men listed below & educated blacks in the general public know this but much has been kept under wraps because slavery gave the men listed below a platform to holler & carry on about grievances long, long ago. The blacks who are not educated & don't know a bit on when slavery came about swallowed lock stock & barrel all that was preached to them in the name of God!!!!!!!!!!!

Al Sharpton
Jesse Jackson
Louis Farrakan
Jeremiah Wright

And a multitude of others who won't or can't think of some other line of work that empasizes/accents the positive. And make not that those I cited are all ministers of some sort. All are very well off financially!!!!!!!!!

Bette, I wish more people were willing to try and reason issues out logically rather than just reacting to rhetoric from activist leaders. I once saw an episode of "A Different World" (spin off of the Cosby Show) in which the characters were putting on a performance about black history. And one was speaking, talking about great black historical figures. On the list she recited were Jesus, Cleopatra, and Hannibal. Hannibal was half Carthigenian and half Iberian (his mother was from the Iberian Peninsula, which isn't even IN Africa). There is no evidence he was black. Cleopatra was Greek (of the Ptolomy Dynasty) and Jesus was Semitic. None of these historical figures are known to be Black African. And yet no one appeared to mind that the writers had co-opted someone else's heritage (I guarantee you there would have been an outcry had the characters been white and the historical figures black). I personally don't accept that there is such a thing as "race" (other than being part of the human race) and we are all interrelated and capable of interbreeding. Therefore, the only differences are ones we have created for ourselves. I just don't like the double standard. And I am tired of hearing about the glories of cultural heritage. I take no credit for the actions of my ancestors - how can I feel satisfaction or pride because of something that I had no hand in? Likewise I will not accept the blame for their actions (and as a white southerner whose ancestors fought for the Confederacy and owned slaves I get a fair amount of that).

Lindsey.....About the show & the inaccuate facts points directly to how run of the mill blacks are so easily led around by the nose by their own people.

Also, whoever wrote that script did not bother to check the historical facts or plainly did not care. And at the same time people are now just simply scared silly to be called a racist when pointing out an inaccuacy on the part of blacks. So no one says anything!!

The "we dare not" bothers & scares me for it perpetuates their so called cause unjustly..........It also makes for resentment of their double standard of thinking towards us.

Of course, to be fair - the various white cultures have been just as guilty of revisionist history and propoganda. However, the worst of that is in the past I believe. And the worst of non-white revisionist history and propoganda I believe is still to come. Since I'm female, I suppose in self-defense I can always respond to criticisms of whites with, "Well, considering that women are the most discriminated-against group literally since the dawn of humanity I'm one of the VICTIMS - so leave me alone!" Which is true, of course - in every culture in every time period. Even in America - black males got the right to vote, serve in the military, serve in politics, serve in the professions, etc. long before white/black women were granted that same right.

Yes.....We poor souls still are looked down upon as servants to men!!

Most maybe in the past but if Obama gets elected there maybe a resurgence of what been hearing from the black community. The we don't have business.

Personally I believe they've been listening to the likes of Sharpton they can not view life in any other way. Sharpton is not college educated but he does understand the value of repetition & brainwashing!!

All any of us can do is wait & see what November brings.

The sad thing about sexism, Bette, is that many men actually believe they are doing us a favor. I've seen it from men in my own family. Some honestly believe that they are "protecting" us for "our own good". They can't seem to understand that the best way of protecting someone is to teach her to protect herself. And, please, please, please - NO to Obama. Not altogether fond of McCain either - but I suppose he's the lesser of two evils. My candidate was Ron Paul. I supported him back in the 1980's when he ran on the Libertarian ticket and I supported him this time. Libertarianism is SUCH a beautiful philosophy....

I agree, women can & should be taught from an early age to stand up for herself in a decent way & by we need not be bullies about it all.

Right on!!!! No Obama in November. For Obama to get into the White House will cause more trauma than we've ever seen before. Obama is not politically savvy & lord only know who his financial advisors will tell him what to do about the economy. Will Obama be able to undo the huge spending Bush has done to the point of a depression? But my biggest concern is what the social & psychological effect will be on American society. Will blacks feel they now have the right to run rough shodd all over every person that is not their own. Will they demand new legislation that more or less benefits them & not all the people. The questions are endless & do we really want to make another horrendous mistake like Bush for a 3rd time?????????

Cleopatra may very well have been African. Cleopatra's mother was Cleopatra V of Egypt and Cleopatra, who was borne of her union with Ptolemy XII Auletes, was a direct descendant of Alexander the Great's general, Ptolemy I Soter, son of Arsinoe and Lacus, both of Macedon.

I find it arrogance that we quibble over who is what race in this country or the world. We all originated from Lucy in Africa. Because of climate and location, skin color, eyes and hair changed to acclimate to that new location.

Bette...Is there a fear that blacks will treat whites as whites have treated blacks throughout this history of slavery and racism in America? There would be no worry if there was no guilt.

This question is absurd. No culture or race will treat anyone any worse than the government and neocons have already treated us all. That is where the problem lies.

"Lindsey......The reason so much has been said/done about slavery in modern times is because of 21st century proponents who make a living off of what happened eons ago."

Bette...You are sorely misinformed. Racism is real and continues today. These "leaders" are no different than advocates of Jews and Hispanics protecting the rights of their people. They have a right to earn incomes just like their white advocacy counterparts do. I'm not necessarily supportive of any of these people you mention, but they serve an important place as spokesmen for the black community.

Unless you have walked in blacks' shoes, you wouldn't know. Unless you have done extensive studies on this topic, you are probably clueless and going on the propaganda fed to you. I am an educated black, my grandmother was a slave, and I have first hand knowledge of what slavery and racism has done to our people.

Please do your homework before spreading propaganda.

Well darn!!!!!! I'm no more wrong than you are right!!

People are fed up with the constant whining of blacks that they still have needs that are not being met!!!!!!

Blacks have all the rights any white person does in this year of 2008. The black discontent is based on greed & want just like the whiteman!!!!!!!

Jeremiah Wright is living proof of what real hatred is and making a fine living off the backs of his own with his words & melodramatic body language. All of Jeremiah's speeches over the years have resulted in the ownership of a million dollar home......Bill Gates live in a million dollar home too, he earned it justly & has donated millions to the impoverished of Africa. Has Jeremiah done the same?????!!!!!!

Oprah Winfrey built a multimillion dollar school system for young girls in Africa because she has openly said American blacks are spoiled!!!!!!

Perhaps you might look up what real poverty & denial is by viewing pictures online of Darfur/Sudan!! No black in America is or has in the 21st century suffered as these people at the hands of their own!!!!!!!!

Marion...... Your words:Bette...Is there a fear that blacks will treat whites as whites have treated blacks throughout this history of slavery and racism in America? There would be no worry if there was no guilt.

I have no guilt & I can not speak for other people. Let me ask you this. If for some reason you were moved to Darfur/Sudan who there would you fear?????
Think about that for a long time for you'd be grateful to be back in America!!!!!!!!!

Bette...you keep bringing this same issue up over and over again. Maybe you ignored my response to you in the thread below. I will post it here for others, but I will not keep wasting time responding to your obviously racist arsonist comments. Your comments are not adding anything to this discussion or the topic.

I provided you with information and links about blacks in America and what it means to them. You never acknowledged any of the information. Rather you continue to run with the same empty arguments. As I said, read and learn about the topic, then come back with an educated argument based on the facts.
