Humankind just keeps the sustainable ideas flowing! I wonder if gavernments would be inclined to give rebates or grants to offset high mortgages (not that I have done my research to this). Isn't it time the GOVT's stop thinking about themselves and do more for low to middle income families. Ughhh, thank goodness for a delicious coffee on hand!

There are earth dwellings in Vermont and elsewhere, which are houses actually built into the ground. In AZ people have constructed houses in the cliff sides using old tires for insulation. I'll get back to you with more on this.
