IN CANADA CIGARETTES ARE SOOOOOO EXPENSIVE PEOPLE BUY THEIR CIGARETTES FROM NATIVES & THAT IS ALL RIGHT, CUZ THE GOVERMENT IS SOOO DAMN GREEDY, GIVE US A BREAK PLEASE & TOUGH LUCK FOR THE GOVERMENT

I'm with you, Jossie. I can understand the government wanting to get people to quit smoking. But I think providing smoking cessation products and services through Health Departments. But instead they impose a "sin tax" and use the money for everything but stop smoking programs. Maybe all government officials should pay a "sin tax" on all the bribes they take!

If we transitioned to a single-payer health care system, would higher taxes then be justified on products which impair health? I have never been a fan of "sin" or "vice" taxes as they put a greater burden on a specific group but do not return an equal benefit. Would cigarette and liquor taxes then be a means to make single-payer health care more feasible? I know it's a little off topic, but it seemed like something worth saying.

Smocking is a very precious and Holy thing.
This subject is greatly misunderstood by the Human race.
It is so re feared that our Father always has the burning of the most precious Herbs in his house for it brings in a calming of the mind for contemplation, When you wish to commune with Our Father a little smocking of the Herbs is for the start of prayer.
It is not everyone who needs this for it is only for removal of the dust that accumulates in the lungs, and to calm the mind for if you should start to have a panic attack it calms the mind in 7 seconds. Nothing else will calm so quickly.
It is not pure oxygen that the human breaths in but many needed gasses and smells. Some will love one smell, some will hate . All move in there own environments. There must be fairness for all. You must allow those who like to smock have there room to smoke. Those who do note smoke have there place. All can then have balance.
It has many good points for health. but again the herbs must be smoked directly from the ground in its natural state, which will not taste very nice so you will not smoke much of it .Bless you all with calmness and good health. Janet.
