They may get B-list treatment at the supermarket, but their health benefits deserve top billing.

I love cabbage cooked and raw. I like it dice and tossed with tomatoes lime juice and a bit of salt.

I don't believe I've ever heard of Purslane, and I can't find guavas, but I do enjoy the other foods mentioned. It's too bad that they usually get a bad rap.

Hmmm, I already eat most of those things. I absolutely love goji berries, they are a bit on the expensive side though so its best to buy them in bulk.

My dad used to eat cabbage sandwiches, sure wish he was still here to have one now.

I was told that the page wasn't there - maybe the fairies stole it in revenge for my thoughts when I read the 'are Fairies Real" (or whatever the title was) article just before coming here!

At any rate, i suppose I'll have to keep ignoring whatever these foods are, darn it.

No way! The teeniest taste of cabbage makes me want to throw up! It comes from being force fed on it as a child.

Like several others, I was unable to access the article. The article was no longer there. I too, love cabbage. I make stuffed cabbage with it, Freezing the head first makes wrapping the rice filling that much easier before baking.

Cabbage, no thanks. I creates lots of gastric problems for me, although I have friends who love sauerkraut! Some of these aren't available locally in the U.S., so there's a carbon problem with shipping them that I try to avoid. Purslane, however, is a "weed" that is easily foraged in many areas. Just be careful to know the difference between that and spurge, and you have to like a taste, much like okra, that's a bit slimy.
