Investigate the rules in your state for who can qualify for food from your Food Bank. I am sure Texas is one of the worst at 189% below poverty level, but most state's have simillar rules and most don't realize it and therefore do nothing to try and change the rules.

You will probably notice non of the rich donate or volunteer here. It is people who do not have much who help.
