Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah accepted on Monday the result of a parliamentary election in Lebanon in which his U.S.-backed opponents secured a majority over the Iranian-backed group and its allies.

Thank you Cal for posting.Hezbolla lost elections, but they are still armed and dangerous, and will remain as such for the time being.

No the question is, will they remain civil about it or will terrorism start up within Lebanon? With their track record...I think we all can guess...

Joe I can't figure why a huge country like Israel, surrounded by peace-loving neighbours like Syria, Iran and Lebanon, which only want peace and friendship, should need to have such a strong,powerful military. It just doesn't make sense.

everbody wants peace and democracy and now the people have spoken ...but will hezzbalah listen?...and very nice post stan..i wonder if israel would still exist if it wasnt for their strong military???..probably not..
