I just heard about this on the news. My brother in law use to take Zyban. (He doesn't anymore though). Glad he never had any of the side effects. (Least not that I know of).
Thanks Cal.

People need to be told that you don't need mind altering drugs to quit smoking, you just need to quit its not easy but it can be done. I did it without the help of drugs and if I can do it anyone can.

Has anyone suggested - or imagined- that the so-called dangers of anti-smoking drugs are part of the tobacco industry campaign not to lose business and clients ??

We shouldn't neglect the fact that the tobacco industry has a lot of money to invest in lobbying efforts and manipulation of the media; and they will stop at nothing, because it is a fight for life for them.

If they can influence legislation to this extent, then they can certainly 'plant' articles in the media!

I had to stop smoking cold turkey. The drugs made me so depressed I wanted to kill myself. I'm fine now and smoke free. It's been 3 months and my health is better. Don't take the drugs, just stop on your own. Use a little selfcontrol and will power. I smoked for 25 years. If I can give them up, anyone can do it.

Thee drugs are anti psychotics and are no#1 narcotics (same class as Heroine) and are subjected to ALL side effects as the other anti psychotics. These drugs are mind controlling and are the same drugs that the people who shoot in the schools use. The same that women have killed their kids, men have shot all of their family members - they are NO different!
Before you listen to your doctor who is dishing them out like candy read all the class action suites on people who have gotten Diabetes, Heart disease, body mutations, suicides and death from these things. You can't miss them there are tons of them.
