I had two different pilots tell me that the reasons we are told to put your faces in pillows when a crash is imminent is to protect our dental records for after death identification. There are a lot of grim things the airlines do not tell me. I have not flown since 9/11 but will be doing so on an international flight in the beginning of October and although I do look forward to the destination to which we are flying, I shudder about the flight itself. Thank you Cal for this article despite the fact that it makes me shudder.

Actually, all of these things on this article are WAY SO TRUE!!!!

Totally believe it all and it is sad that it happens...

The last statement really hit me hard!!!! Why else does everyone that every flies on an airplane come off it with a rotten COLD!!!

On a flight during the routine demonstration of emergency procedures, the music of Titanic was playing in the background. I did not enjoy the flight at all.

Oh sherbet what happens if you don't have teeth, keep all the other things secret I don't want to know, besides I enjoy flying and it is safe... more people are killed in car accidents than flying..
