Humpback whales should never have been removed from the endangered list, because the gestation period is so long. This is disgusting news. Call, why no good news today.

Oh hell, just end the endangered species list, the killers don't pay attention and no one really enforces it with real punishment. We are all on a road to self destruction why keep pretending that any one gives a damn.

Kit I know what you mean, we are all preaching to the choir, but at least the fellowship brings me some comfort. the knowledge that there are others that care is at least hope...

These sea creatures MUST NOT be taken off the Endangered List.

There are way to many that are hit by ships, they are zapped by the sonar of navy ships, the fact that we even still have this special ceatures are a totally mystery to me.

If they are taken off the Endangered List then in my humble opinion we will no longer have these special creatures. By the time that someone gets around to putting them back on the Endangered List, it sadly will be just way to late.

We must keep up the fight for these special creatures by any means!

I don’t think it is a good idea that they should be removed for the endangered list. It seems as soon as this takes place something always happens. What is the reason for this? Don’t the Governments have enough going on that they have to create more havoc? Not just on them but most of all our wonderful Mammals/Animals. And yes the stress on us who care..
Thanks Cal

As long as there are greedy people out there, we should never stop our effort, and even try harder to protect it. There's only that much of the many species we are given dominion with (by God) and we destroy so many already, when do we stop this stupidity?

OK let me get this straight; at the beginning of the century there were 15,000 humpbacks. Humans as a species practically annihilated them, leaving less than 1,000 individuals and now through careful enforcing of regulations, population levels have slowly climbed reaching the dizzying heights of 2,000 whales AND THEY'RE NO LONGER CONSIDERED ENDANGERED?!

The second they're taken off the endangered species list, you can kiss goodbye to Humpback Whales. Another victim of human greed...
