At least 261 have been arrested this year trying to cross near Tucson. Illegal Chinese immigrants can be big money for smugglers.

I have nothing against immigrants, we all came from immigrants, save the great American Indian tribes. What I object to is the ILLEGAL part. Our ancestors came here the hard way, doing all the things the government required of them to come in to America legally. If they can't come in that way, they do not belong here, period! Illegals are costing us $24 million a year in Las Vegas, NV., just for kidney dialysis, as Emergency Room patients at our local hospitals. They need to go to their own countries and let their own people take care of them. I had to work extra jobs to help pay for my childrens medical problems, no insurance. Why do I now have to pay for a bunch of illegals medical too???

FOOD FOR THOUGHT! I live near a US Army base.(VERY CLOSE TO THE MEXICAN BORDER) There are several "Chinese Restaurants," especially one large one in particular that was built and opened a couple years ago. A friend and I were visiting a city in NM (also near the border) where there is a large AF Base and in the nearby town, a large Chinese restaurant similar to the one in my home town was opened. I casually remarked to him in a possible joking way that these would be a great way for the Chinese to SPY on us. I'm sure the military personnel frequent these places and the interesting part is that most of the waiters/waitresses are Chinese and speak the language fluently (not English) In fact, some of them can barely speak English. I doubt these restaurants that have "sprang up" are co-incidental. I hope these places aren't furnishing a route from the border on into the states where they can sit and wait for a signal to do damage. I hope the authorities, such as CIA, FBI and other counter espionage people keep an eye out and are prepared for any needed action.
After all, what does it take to open a business here in the states? Well we all know we need money, but how crucial is any other information. Pay the licence fees, taxes and keep the books. Then viola! open for business. Believe me, people, we need to be aware and keep our eyes and ears open for any suspicious activities in the least places one would expect. LOOK AROUND, BE AWARE.

Illegal immigration is a knotted problem. First off, it's no route to seek a better and sustained life. The illegals are presented with all kinds of harm along the way economically, in family fragmentation, dealing with smugglers and threats to their lives environmentally and through homicides.

There has to be better approaches. For one wanting to advance their lives for the better has to first be initiated into the underworld where they are submitted to grievances that is a retrogression of their lives, just doesn't make sense. Throughout the process they experience hostilities from simple language barriers, the smugglers and even at the endpoint where the employer is taking advantage in expected long hour sweat endurances for low wages.

Though most may not admit publicly, we are biased towards the illegal, feeling perhaps they are subhuman. But they are human with the same desires, needs, aspirations and wants as any other anywhere. They are people.

How can we as a nation truly benefit from illegals as opposed to the smugglers and the cheap employers? For simply listing them as illegals is not going to take away one's will to improve upon life and as long as that will persists, you will have people we call illegal immigrants.

Reform needs immediate attention worldwide when it comes to illegals. For starters, how about petitioning improvements from their native lands, from insisting on more humane governance to economic trade in driving up the welfare of the average Joe and Jane Citizen.

The Chinese should stay in their country to clean up their 'totalitarian system' which is outdated, outmoded and suppresses the 'human spirit'- hence which leads to animal cruelty.
