It's a disgrace. Local Israeli banks witheld NIS 25 M (about 5 M Euro) from Holocaust survivors for the last 60 years, and now, they only admitted highjacking cash that belonged to people whom suffered beyond words.

Shame on the cold Jewish Bank Executives who pretend not to have known about the funds.... RIGHT!

It really seems as if the real purpose of Israel, was not a Homeland for all Jews; it is intended to be only the homeland of the Elites. The regular people suffer here and are continuously abused in some way by the authorities or by the banks.

I do remember WWII and a ton of people that are younger are stating that this never happened, the fact that this is being down right now is at least a step in the right direction -- even if it is sadly way to late.

I don't think letting millions of Arabs hostile to the State of Israel to immigrate into its proper is a good idea.

Arab States should learn from Israel how to show compassion to their brethern in need. Israel took all 850,000 Jews expelled from Arab countries, while 22 Arab states with all the OIL $$$ "cannot" take care of 700,000 Arabs moved out of Israel. That's a shame on Arab states and stupidity on the part of UN and West sponsoring millions of the descendants of those Arabs living all over the Arab world. Arab states have to show basic responsibilities for the results of wars they started!

Very sad that the victims of Nazi oppression may have unwittingly been subsidising Isreal's oppression of the Palestinians! Hi time the banks stopped hanging on to other people's assets anywhere in the world!

Better later than never. At least Israeli banks will pay out what they owe. In comparison, Iraqi government passed a law preventing Jews from claiming property stolen from them when they were expelled from Iraq.

Good that Israel is not governed by thieves and robbers.
