The whole planet should grow up and be a nuclear free planet. The Mid-East should not be considered in their quest alone. Too many countries are like little boys playing with big toys. I advocate the destruction of all nuclear bombs world wide. We simply don't need to maintain these kindsof destructive actions on the part of any nation.

Second thoughts..... I actually find it very hard to believe. This is a very strange story......

Nuclear Free Middle East, but our government (Israeli) does not even admit to having them........ so... all powers nuclear free, except Israel??

I am all for a Nuclear Free Middle East. This is the powder keg of the world, and the people running the Middle East, including Israel, are a bunch of gangsters with large egos and small brains. So obviously, for the good of the entire planet, we should be nuclear free.

But the story does not make sense to me.

1. How can you agree to get rid of your nuclear arsinal, if you don't even admit to having them?
2. Our government will NEVER give up on their nuclear might.

May be the guys met just to sell something to each other. Both Iranians and Israelis are smart, Ahmadinejad is of Jewish origin, so may be they finally decided to stop stupid rhetoric and it's now time to make some money.

Good news Cal, thanks for posting.

I believe that Barack Obama's attitude and actions on the matter of a nuclear constricted Middle East is the way to go.

I don't care how secretive a meeting this event between Israel and Iran turned out to be, it is very encouraging news and hopefully will break ice for future considerations.
This news is tantamount to achieving some semblance of ME peace and with current US belief shifts, a cushion, we hope, will be laid to give these two antagonist countries awide soft landing for future considerations of this huge historic event.

What a turnaround...
