Ir is easy to recall the blow out of Mount Saint Helen's. This is after all a part of the Pacific Rime of Fire. There are tectonic plates moving constantly under these mountains. I am sure there is a massive pool of magma to feed this mountains. Thanks, Cal, for the article. I did not know that the time table was so close.

"the setup could be akin to the known supervolcano at Yellowstone." Whoa! That sounds super-dangerous to me!
