No mercy for those accused of trying to topple the Islamic Republic. Britain on Thursday protested a four-year jail sentence apparently imposed on one of its senior employees at its embassy in Tehran accused of spying and fomenting violence

IRAQ (under U.S. puppet government) - Grim fates for political prisoners

PAKISTAN (under U.S. puppet government) - Grim fates for political prisoners

COLOMBIA (under U.S. puppet government) - Grim fates for political prisoners

AFGHANISTAN (under U.S. puppet government) - Grim fates for political prisoners

HONDURAS (under U.S. puppet coup regime for the past 4 months) - Grim fates for protesters and political prisoners, and no justice, despite the U.S. hype about a "negotiated deal"

To the people of the USA and other first world countries: WHEN YOU STOP SUPPORTING OPPRESSION YOURSELVES, THEN WE WILL START TO TAKE YOUR "STAND AGAINST OPPRESSION IN IRAN" SERIOUSLY. Until then, you are being hypocrits!!!

Unfortunately in detaining and imprisoning people with no fair trial or cause, America can't complain too much about Iran's actions here due to the black eye the Bush years gave us in doing the same. We lost our clout.

In any theocratic government, as in Iran or Israel, true justice will take a back seat to biggoted affronts...

Bruce, why did you call Isreli government theocartic? Israel does not live by Jewish Religious Law, no comparison to Iran.

Every peson deserves a fair and honest trial... some countries need to take the LOGS out of their own eyes before taking the SPECK out of others

Not a big fan of the current government of Iran and not a fan of the old (Shah) regime, either. Fair trials for those accused of trying to overthrow a government is the best we could hope for. I wonder how fair of a trial someone who tried to overthrow the Corporate American government would be. I'm sure the mainstream media would be "fair & balanced" in its coverage. ; )
