I hope that the cable show pundits do not try to make a national or anti-Obama case out of this. Thank you, Cal, for the news but we will have to wait and see if the news is good.

Sorry, Bee Hive Lady. I think they've already started. It doesn't take those hyenas long. As you well know, if it's gone wrong it must be Obama's fault. That is just their mentality.

Are these governors 2 of the very few 'good' republicans or are they the O'Reilly and Beck kind of idiots ?

The country has been moving conservative for a long time.

What upset the previous election was the madness of the wars - the world found out about the atrocities with the military, in particular, defense contractors.

The worst offence for Republicana was the lie about the free-market and competition driving down costs - Halliburton and then-Blackwater received no-bid contracts.

But all that is behind us, and conservatives are doing just what the liberal group says they should do: MoveOn.

You are starting to see rifts in the Republican Party, which is good - we need to punish those guilty of atrociites in Iraq and Afghanistan.

What scares me are the liberals who can't say any good about Bush because of the wars - and support Obama for the same wars.

I left the Republican Party in 2006 to run for office under a different ticket, and I am glad to see the party purging itself.

Most importantly they lost the two congressional races New York’s 23rd which was republican held since before the Civil war and California 10th where the vote was a landslide for the Dem.

This is the time when the dust start to settle and the parties will be facing a game of snakes and ladders.. some ladders will be managed and some will be swallowed by the snake.. but this does not mean that the Obama adminstration will loooooose ... the game is not yet over..

The Talking Heads in the media are AGAIN going off the deep end. Geez !!! You'd think Obama himself was in the running in these last races. If the Obama opposition is predicting his demise with just these local elections and not acknowledging the NY23rd, they are still in LA LA land. My Gosh, they sure are grabbing at the Short Straws to keep the ignorance satiated.
