Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman compared Iran's regime with the Nazis when he spoke Monday in Copenhagen at a special ceremony in memory of the Danish Jews who were sent to the Theresienstadt concentration camp during World War II.

Lieberman is a dangerous, megalomanical racist... His party received a huge portion of the votes from public which you can compare to right-wing red necks in the US.

I agree, this man is a radical and we have to learn that the Middle East is not our territory, not ours to say what policy is or is not correct. We know very little of the Iranian Culture here, as there is little news due to 30 years of a virtual news black out. I have respect for Israel but not the way they have bullied and treated their neighbors. The United States pours vast sums of money into Israel in order to have a foot hold in the Middle East. We need to let these people work out their own problems and stop all the violent rhetoric.

Ahmadinejad is a dangerous, megalomanical racist... His party received a huge portion of the votes from public which you can compare to Holocaust denying right-wing red necks in the US. Hmmm, sounds familiar.

First, we have to educate ourselves on what is really happening. Then we have to stand up against those that are corrupt. Ahmadinejad is more than decidedly corrupt, in my opinion. Hopefully, one day the lessons from the past will help us from stopping men such as these, before they seize the assests and power that they have to harm the innocent and to lie to their people. Hopefully, one day we will stop travelling around in circles and making the same mistakes. Like with Hitler and Ahmadinejad, one day everyone on this planet will stand up against such despots.

What Zionist enterpirse is everyone talking about? It's like you all actually believe in some worldwide Jewish conspiracy. Well I can tell your first hand from a Jew, I have never been called and invited to some secret meeting, and if there's some coffer of money were all suppose to get, I'd like my cut.

Now if your definition of ZIonism is a belief that Israel has a right to exist, then we are starting from two incredibly different places and frankly can't even have a rational conversation on it. Further, I know a lot of American Jews...not very many of us are licking our chops to go live in Israel...just think you all might want to rethink the zionism part of your argument. Arguments about poor human rights and the settlements are all valid, but i don't think Zionism really means anything anymore. Even when it did have a meaning, the whole idea of zionism was just that, an ideal. It was never meant to be taken seriously and most jews do not think there is some call to return home. The whole idea was picked up on by the Nazi's as anti-semetic propaganda. It wasn't real then, and its not real now. You can all do better.

Is it a coincidence that, as I write this, the 3 main Care2 world news topics are all about some of the few countries that are free of U.S. imperialist domination and U.S. exploitation? (E.g. Sudan, Iran and Nepal.)

They are constantly slandered by the U.S.A.'s capitalist media, and many U.S. citizens unthinkingly regurgitate the words of their capitalist masters. This is not alternative news. This is merely a repetition of what we get on the mainstream TV, radio and newspapers. Why do you plaster it all over our Care2 alternative media website, too??? What is the point of repeating it here??? We hear the imperialist propaganda from your capitalist ruling class constantly anyway!!!

The supporters of the USA and Israel are completely hypocritical when they criticise Iran.

Modern Israel is a colony of the west in the Middle East, and apartheid state that has been brutally oppressing the Indigenous people of Palestine since Israel was founded by force in 1948.

The USA (with its support for coups, support for oppressive regimes, support for proxy wars, and its own direct wars and economic plunder of the Third World), is the most destructive nation on earth. The USA kills millions of people each year, and causes suffering to billions of people.

The words of one of Eric Clapton's "Unplugged" songs could be justly sung by the people of Iran, and the world, to the people of the USA and Israel:

"before you accuse me, take a look at yourself!"

Who turned up your rant machine today, Simon?
Please post alternative news instead of just whining to us about how we're irresponsible and one-sided. Want to change something that you can change--do it! I'll read your articles.
Please, leave your Shiraz or whatever other beverage you like at home!
And for G-d's sake, don't whine and drive!!

http://www.care2.com/news/member/853400806/1300387 a story on hate:

Iran is not as dangerous as the main stream media has made it out to be. Israel has over 200 Nuclear bombs and refuse to Comply with UN Resolution to allow inspectors in. Iran however has had about 26 or 27 inspections by the UN. Israel refused to sign the Non Proliferation Treaty as well. Where as Iran has. The main stream media is painting Iran as a the bad guy which it is not. Pure propaganda. Then again in recent day they have also painted Chevez as the bad guy as well. Chevez the guy who is helping th poorest of poor out of poverty and has given the people Universal Health care and the opportunity to get a good education.
The only reason is they will not bend to the will of the US and let them in their countries to take over and privatize everything. Which if they did would drive more people into deeper poverty as it has in other countries.
The US uses the Drug war as pretext for South America which is pure BS.US Troops in Afghanistan were ordered to Guard the poppy fields so the war lords, drug lord and farmer get their money. There are now a million addicts in Afghanistan and a few more million around the world compliment of the US NATO invasion in Afghanistan. Even Iran and Iraq have a growing Heroin Addiction problem. The Taliban as awful as many may believe had destroyed all the poppy field thus eliminating much of the Heroin Addiction in their country and abroad. The only reason their was an invasion in Afghanistan was the gas oil and Pipeline. Why: War in Iraq and Afghanistan http://bit.ly/pVAu2
Well they want the gas oil and Pipeline through Iran as well. All the propaganda is a pretext to war nothing more. The Same with the propaganda about Chevez who has a crap load of OIL as well.
Even the Georgia problem was caused and created by Israel and the US. Israel and US were behind the Georgian Attacks on South Ossetia and Abkhazia http://wp.me/p4271-1w9
