Sad for the small birds, many other animals had a tough time this winter. Thanks Cal

Iknow the deer had a rough winter they ate a lot of my bushes down to nothing and they don't usually touch them in a normal winter. I see many small birds in my yard but it may be that when I feed my chickens the birds flock to the food too! Win win situation here. Thanks Cal

My mum and I put food out everyday throughout the year for the birds, but how do you keep water from freezing, I would have thought someone might have invented a water bowl that works on solar or something else to keep the water from freezing by now? Thanks Cal
