That's the gist of this video put together by Canada's largest labor union, the Public Service Alliance of Canada, which celebrated National Aboriginal Day on June 21 by launching a new campaign, Justice for Aboriginal Peoples--It's Time!

Very good video. Wish I could sign the related petition posted by Rosemary R but the page only allows for domestic Canadian locations.

Excellent video. I've had those words thrown into my face as well....."Why don't you just get over it." When I see our Mother being destroyed and all who dwell upon her, NO.....I will never get over it!

Native Americans and Canadians, First Nations peoples did not bring about the rape and pillage of the Earth, The Europeans did that. And yet, still as we think about this, Ceremonies, Sun dance etc are being planned and held where these First Peoples of this land pray, dance, fast, and suffer to ask for help for this land, and its inhabitants. They send their young warriors to fight for these lands, even tho they will be disrespected when they return. I mean really?? Really ?? When do we give them ordinary respect or consideration? Oh and if they decide to use gameing to raise money so they can better the lives of their familes stuck in the middle of nowhere, then they get bashed for that too. Enough!
