One lesson I have learned, though, is that #9 can be wrong. Sometimes we simply lack the information we need to get an answer. It does not lie inside us and we must rely upon others. That is okay: As a group we develop a pool of answers upon which we may all draw. We call it our culture or civilization, and the addition to that pool of answers that will be maintained is called progress. There is nothing wrong with standing upon the shoulders of giants; It helps you to see far.
