Thanks Cal. Perhaps sex (forced/rape) is a survival (genes) tactic in the face of probable and imminent death for humans in this terrible environmental situation. Forced sex in other situations has many other dreadful connotations pertaining specifically to we humans...Deep Sadness for all of them.

Women are subjected to so much pain and misery! I hope the men who are engaging in this practice are rounded up and made to pay for their actions. I think Somalia could use some eunuchs at this point in time.

The "men" who do this have no compassion and are evil...may they rot....karma will be far from graceful for these sub human monsters...

Lin Penrose is right. Even Staphylococci engage in sexual reproduction when their life is threatened. Normally they reproduce by binary fission.

As if there isn't enough suffering! Rape has nothing to do with love, sex or reproduction. Rape is a crime of violence. Underline! Bold!

Noted thank you Cal.
There are no words adequate enough to convey the horror of starvation coupled with the fear of violent rape.
My heart goes out to the victims in this horrible situation.

Are these vultures hanging around waiting to inflict more injury on the most vulnerable or have they arrived with the women and been dehumanised by the famine, I wonder.

raping someone too weak to fight back! How can they face their own women and children? May they all become sterile.

Under circumstances where people should stick together and help one another, these men resort to brutality and violence, making an already hellish way of life even worse!

I hope these women are given access to safe abortions, should they seek them. Or perhaps the ANTI-CHOICE mob will demand that they give birth to the children of their rapists?

It just could not be worse!!! It's unbelieveble that anybody can take advantage of those victimized women and children. Horrible, it has to be stopped!
