rooftop gardening should be more widespread. it saves on energy because it keeps roofs cooler/warmer, would provide residents with a nice little spot of green to relax with, and fresh veggies and fruit, or even just something nice to look at.

noted. finally some wasted space will be used for something good. I used to look down onto rooftops of large buildings and wonder why the space wasn't used for something - rooftop deck, garden, solar panels, something, anything. I hope to hear of more of these things.
