In the 1990s, the speaker of the House fought against censorship of sexually explicit materials on the internet.

Of course he would speak out for this cause, now he can say what he wants when he what he wants and no one can do a darn thing about it...he has always protected his interests...

Well , he got one thing right. Big deal, it doesn't outweigh the rest of his idiocy.

At least he accomplished SOMETHING besides shutting down the government and running up thousands of dollars in ethics violations fines.

I'm so sick of garbage being raked up about our politicians.

Is there any innocent in all the Earth?

I'm not.

I don't think you are either.
I certainly don't expect you to be.

I wonder if people realize what it would be like if we had a president
who had never done anything worse than steal a penny out of his
mother's purse?

We are not Puritan's and we should not expect our leaders to be.
Actually, a strong sex drive usually accompanies genius.

No one is perfect by any means; however, with that said, there are those of us who are much farther away from perfection than others; Gingrich, by means of this article, shows that he is one of those who is farther away than most.

I agrre with Zee. He supported free speech. That means that someone else has the freedom to say something that you find depiccable. Where does the censorship stop? With book burning? I am sick of negative campaigning.

Censorship is easy to instal, and with the good arguments most people will agree on installing it - take porn or similar.

But setting limits to censorship, once installed, is much more difficult.

Free speech, free internet, or something limited and supervised? Supervised by whom?

Porn is the thing we have to accept on the internet, it's the price we pay for the freedom on the net.

Gingrich might be someone with political ideas you don't like, but he did defend the freedom of the internet, and for that we might even thank him.

Secondly, Zee is right: WHO is absolutely perfect, clean, and without any wrong? You want to elect an Amish?
