I can't believe this has gone on for so long. It is hideous. These poor people are dieing and suffering because of oil. We have no trouble sticking our noses in everywhere else. Why can't we do something about this? Because of greed and avarice as usual. Sometimes I wish a plague would just wipe out all of mankind and put us out of our misery and leave the rest of th eworld to nature.

Will they ever know peace in Darfur? George Clooney and his father are giving generous support where they can in Darfur.

We need to do a heck of alot more than "put pressure on the UN". We need to pressure China and Russia ourselves, and make damn sure we have no dog in this fight other than humanitarian!

Interesting that the UN seems reluctant to stand up against Muslim THUGS who want to impose their will on simple farmers in Darfur!

It's so sad that in this day and age there is still genocide. It's just horrible to think about. What's even more sad is that if this article was on Yahoo, all the comments would be people saying it's not our problem. It IS our problem as we are all human beings!! Signed and noted. Thanks

Thanks Cal for keeping this in the forefront as conflicts that go on and on tend to be forgotten by many over time. This is a disgrace to all Countries in this world that this still continues. Is there no Country that will not stand up to this genocide? Canada? Saudia Arabia? China? France? Germany?

Is why I never believe my own Country, USA, in what it talks about for the most part. We can go in Iraq, but we can't help these people, we can do many things to help Libya yet we let the Ruwanda massacres happen. Signed, as I have signed for so many years, it pains me that I'm still signing for this same issue.

To try and stop such atrocides would require unconventional actions and I'm not so sure politically correrct people of this world would like it.
