This, combined with the hacking of care2 has me really worried..i've used an android smartphone as my computer for over a year now, and i'll be the first to admit i've been pretty careless..gulp.
And I now have a new laptop, which i'll have set up in the next few days, so this has given me alot to think about.
I guess it's time for me to be a little, no alot, more carefull with passwords, logging off etc.
And that apparently won't even be enough :-(
Thanks Cal, I needed a dose of reality.

It's a given, isn't it? But no surprise with banks telling us their "privacy" regulations and grocery stores keeping track of what we buy and online sites keeping track of where we go - But do we say anything we wouldn't say to the powers that be if we could? I think not. Besides, we know a few things about them, too....

I am sure the government is monitoring us, and tract all about our lives, even how we vote. freedom is a costly right...just look back into America's history...we are loosing our rights due to ungodly extremists like the UCLA, LGRA , CSB, immorality , and ungodliness. the family unit broken down, God being kicked out of our country, we are in a melt down to the end...

The paper and ink days were a lot safer and it was very difficult to sneak a cabinet full of documents out of an office without being spotted, or putting your back out.

Oh, I'm sure I'm being tracked; just hope I'm providing some amusement/consternation for those doing the tracking. And, btw, I couldn't read the referenced article at Alternet because of the overlay of their letter begging/requesting donations.

Good info Cal. Scares me silly. If humans survive, I'm afraid for my grandchildren. They will likely have to have a camera in their house recording all they say and do......just like 1984 author wrote. I guess he was a prophet.

Well - I think we are way too far into the game. With computers and electronics assisting us to complete our daily chores we input all this information within a conscious level. We have lost our privacy a long long time ago - and I do not believe that we aever gain it back.
