So many people are just not aware of the dangers of bringing plants and animals out of their environment into another. All too often that species thrives and the indiginous species get crowed out. It can happen so inocently, but there are many many examples of this.

Thank you Cal for this news at site! Frankly, in my opinion, they should BAN ALL IMPORTS PERIOD!!! While California has dealt with a ton of issues, like import of Plants, we sadly have creatures that were never supposed to be here...

For example guys Flordia...Goodness look at all of the snakes there now...IMPORTED!!!

Not tracking but, if someone has an issue with my comment write me directly! I dearly would only love to have the creatures that were FIRST BORN IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA...sadly, they are overrun lately by all IMPORTS!!! A PETITION ?????

Importing "new species" of every kind can/ will change the habitat they r imported to. said it as an Non - Pro.

her we go again. people who think ecology can work like consumer demographics. humans can't do any harm to any animal, but yet it's kind to put a type of animal where it dosen't belong in a new habatat. hey! wolves are American. let's just export all the Red Wolves to Hawaii
