Though nuclear power still has a strong foothold in Asia, anti-nuclear sentiment and protest are growing from Mongolia to South Korea to Taiwan and even - in modest ways - in China.

What a world it would be if only all countries would end any use of NUKE power or Nukes for anything.

Honestly, will Communist countries actually listen to their people?

I so agree with Kit - it's been established now that nuclear doesn't work yet - we're not able to contain it for good or for bad - the world cannot afford either another Fukushima or Hiroshima - and why is it that Japan must be the nation to teach us these lessons?

I'm so glad this is happening. There are no winners in a nuclear war or a nuclear accident.

We have so much neuclear waste now unsafely stored away and there is no good safe way to store it. Also we keep having near misses and minor misses along with disasters like fukashima and chernobyl. It is obvious that like so many other projects these were short cutted and now are being found to be unsafe. We cannot afford to mess with nuke energy. We need to get on green renewable energy and start using less of it. We need to find much more effecient ways to use what we have.
